best vehicle ever! - 2006 Hyundai TUCSON
By tessm - April 16 - 3:42 amI had a Stellar in the 80s and I thought that was the best car I ever had. I was wrong. The Tuscon is now my favorite. I bought it new and have never looked back. I now have over 240,000 km on it and I have never had any problems. Sure I have had to have new brakes and tires put on it but dont you have to eventually on any vehicle? I drive a lot, especially on the highway and I always feel safe and secure in this car. I have moved three times and have loaded more things into it than you would believe. I also have two big dogs and they have never complained about the lack of room. The body and interior still look like new. Its is a truely great vehicle!

Great Car - 2006 Hyundai TUCSON
By NYCDriver - April 4 - 4:06 amI bought the car new. I have 60,000 miles on it. Tires are still like new. Have not had any issues. Had a 99 Elantra wagon before that was great. Hyundai makes great cars with an excellent warranty. I service it once a year and change the oil every 3,000 miles. I average about 25mpg.

OK, but - 2006 Hyundai TUCSON
By tyron - February 6 - 7:43 pmthe SUV does not even get close to the est. milage. It would be better if they changed the gear ratios or make it a 4 speed trans. Other then that it is fun to drive. I had a 4cyl. and traded up to the 6 after a road trip. The 4 gets better milage but does not go up hill and was very loud when going 65mph. I purchased because of safety features and the warrenty. My other Suv was 2 years old,

bad ride - 2006 Hyundai TUCSON
By not happy - January 17 - 6:16 amBought my tucson in oct 2006. I checked reports. Wasn t happy after I bought it. I get 19 mpg. in town 17hgy. Seems like thats backward. After only 2000 miles I have had 11 tires replaced. Second day they turned the front roters they were warped. Service said tires were bad . The tucson shakes, wobbles at low speeds. Stering wheel vibrates bad. Service says nature of this to happen. I think it has to big of tires on it. Has 235/16/60. tire to wide.Service tech. said only way to change that is to drive it a while and trade it off. I think i will take his advice. I depended on J D Powers ranking when I bought my tucson. I was let down I am 50 years old. I buy new every 2-3 years . NOT HYUNAI.

Surprising Quality & Value ! - 2006 Hyundai TUCSON
By jcast - January 1 - 5:46 pmOnly driven 500 miles, but very impressed by the ride, abundance of amenities & overall performance -- it looks & feels larger than a compact SUV & the great warranty is an added bonus. The silver ext. with dark grey leather is very attractive & easy to keep clean. Toyota & Honda better stay on their toes cuz Hyundai is on the way up & has great financial resources to compete with them. Way to go Hyundai!!

Used to have a RAV4 - 2006 Hyundai TUCSON
By Elle - October 21 - 10:06 amTraded my RAV4 in for the Tuscon because of all the added features on the Tuscon, the warranty, and the great things I had heard from friends about Hyundai. I love it. Its a solid SUV, perfect size for travel & carrying. Very roomy. Great handling. I really like the V6 which may not be as peppy as some but perfect for driving to & from CA on the 15 which has some crazy drivers.

The Tucson is #1! - 2006 Hyundai TUCSON
By Stephanie - September 4 - 3:10 pmI had a full size van for the last 11 years. I was unable to decide on the type of car I wanted to replace it. After seeing and driving the Tucson, my mind was made up! It is so easy to get in and out of. I have back and leg problems, and this vehicle had everything I was looking for. Style, comfort and ease. I love this vehicle and recommend it to all!!!!
