value, value, value. - 2006 Hyundai TUCSON
By Corey - November 10 - 10:56 amHyundai has attempted to do what honda and toyota have done for years with the RAV4 and CR-v: which is sell great "crossovers" to an ever growing market. weve had our Tucson for over a year and are still enamoured with it. The only reason we would get rid of it is to move up to the Santa Fe to accomodate our growing family. As other have mentioned, price, standard features, and build and ride quiality are the main reasons to by this car. All Toyota/Honda give you is 20 more HP in the engine at a cost of thousands. We have the 4 cyl. and it is perfect for what we need: mostly city driving. We did take it from home - Toronto- to Cape Cod and with the car packed got 25 mpg.

Excellent SUV all around - 2006 Hyundai TUCSON
By Pauline - August 24 - 4:00 pmHave owned it for 15 months now and it has proven reliable, economic, and comfortable. I get 20 miles in the city and 26 hwy. It responds well to curves, acceleration, driving in the rain and wind, no sways. View out the windows is excellent with one flaw, the driver windshield/dashboard frame width along with wide mirror factor, which you have to move head several times to make sure you are not missing a car or pedestrian! VG heating and cooling, and door compartments and dash cubbies and armrest cubbies prevent clutter well. Nice dash lighting at night. Tiltable steering wheel and ease of locking in. Lights in cargo, passenger, even door side lights. Wonderful suv for the price and warranty

Hyundai Tuscon - 2006 Hyundai TUCSON
By Jim Cox - April 30 - 1:46 amVery pleased with the car with the exception of gas mileage not as good as we expected. The six cylinder has plenty of power and acceleration for an SUV of this size. Very impressed with interior roominess.

2006 Tucson - 2006 Hyundai TUCSON
By jcmann01 - April 20 - 5:03 pmBought in JAN 07. Love it!! A must see if your in the market for an SUV. Top rating of 2006 for small SUVs and excellent crash rating by Gov. test standards. 2.7 Liter engine may seem small compared to others, but dont be fooled! This baby has a lot of spit fire, but at the same time is economical. No problems getting up to 80-90 mph on highway without engine strain and quickly. City milege is about 20MPG.

Actually the top 2005 LX 4WD - 2006 Hyundai TUCSON
By augg-the-dog - February 6 - 3:30 amWe love it. We replaced my wifes 2000 Jeep Cherokee and we are very impressed. More head and leg room, better vis, and all at the same overall length (+/- a tiny inch or so). If you are a young family with multiple car seats, playpens and baby stuff to haul, it may not fill the bill. But for my wifes everyday round-town, it is perfect. Remember, most of the folks that report to CR are usually those that are unhappy for both small and big reasons. Personally, if interior noice is rated at 92dbs or 94 dbs or whatever, it is typically meaningless to me. Great car, great ride and great value...we researched them all.

Best Ever - 2006 Hyundai TUCSON
By Armand Micheline - February 6 - 12:53 amI drove Toyota for 15 years, 3 vehicles, but after trying to Tucson, I fell in love! I love that the seats fold FLAT...Big selling point for cargo hauling. This vehicle is by far the best for the price, and I strongly recommend anyone looking to check it out!

tucson 06 - 2006 Hyundai TUCSON
By bjw tucson - January 13 - 1:40 amI did extensive research before I bought the tucson and I felt that the tucson gave me all the options I wanted and still was at the price I wanted, $1000s less than honda and toyota, I am real happy with my decsion to buy a tucson. Just completed a round trip of 850 miles and no problems a of any kind, averaged 22 miles per gallon, even though sticker says 26 for the highway but the mpg will slowly improve as the car ages. I would definately recommend this vehicle for anyone that is searching for a small but spacious suv for the family.

Love My Hyundai Tuscon - 2006 Hyundai TUCSON
By Nancy Farrell - September 21 - 7:10 amThis is my 4th Hyundai purchase, first SUV and I love it!!! The Hyundai cars are a terrific value for the price. They run well, look good, have good storage space especially once the back seats fold down. My Tuscon is my baby, it is so roomy, comfortable and looks good. I cant wait to get in the car (I know its a SUV) and Im very careful where I park when I go out. I cant say enough about my Tuscon, I will tell anyone who asks where I purchased it, who was my salesperson and that the service department is great also. My 85 year old mother loves the Tuscon and she has no problem either getting in or out. She cant wait until we drive to Disney in February, 2006 and neither can I.
