One of Hyundai's longest-running nameplates, the Santa Fe is a car-based crossover SUV aimed at buyers seeking the elevated ride height and useful cargo area of a traditional utility vehicle in an easy-to-drive package.   After looking at the Honda Pilot, Pontiac Torrent, Chevrolet Equinox,I found the Santa Fe to have all they offered and more. Plenty of airbags, XM radio, 3.3L V6,large cabin, great fit and finish, but above all a dealer experience like no other. Nice people, no push to but and when they did not have the vehicle with the options I wanted, they went to another dealer and got it. Great car, great dealer, great experience.

  I had this vehicle for 3 years and i love it, It came with a 3.5 liter Engine that has so much power that it scared me in the begining can out run a lot other vehicles fast, very fast. Pretty good milage and runs well on regular gas. Unfortunetley new Sata fe do not have this egine I think they have a 3.3 liter now so i dont know if you will get the kick i get.

  I got this car in August of 2015. I traded in my old 2005 Chevy Aveo for something large enough for my growing family and this car was the first one I saw. So far, weve had no problems. The only thing I noticed was the little skip in the car if you start breaking for a red light. Im not entirely sure if its just because of an internal problem or if the breaks need a readjustment but I am in love with this car!!

  This car is beautiful. The front and profile are classic. Got the 2.7 six instead of the 3.5. 2.7 goes good, but I wish Id gotten the 3.5. Cargo area is very good sized for an SUV in this size range. Very nice ride, even compared to the Town and Country minivan I traded in for this. Radio (monsoon) sounds very nice, switches and knobs are laid out pretty good. Ample leg and torso room in front. Rear seat okay for 3 average adults. Tall/larger folks would be cramped for 3 across. Electric moon roof rocks. 60 month/ 60,000 miles warranty, 10 yr 100000 mile drivetrain warranty.

  The transmission shifts fine. Im getting 21 MPH highway during sea level driving, reduced some at elevation.

  We traded in our 2002 Santa Fe Limited for this one after checking Toyota and Honda. We get about 20 mpg over all in the summer and 23-24 over all mpg on long trips, about what they predicted. The only draw backs we have found are that the right rear seat belt buckle will not come out of the seat hole far enough to get it buckled up. The cruise control is to slow to respond so you can drop 5 to 7 mph on inclines before you get back up to speed (frustrating for the people following you). Hyundai does not have a fix for these and maybe nobody else has these problems as I havent see it listed before. We still love the car and would buy another.

  We bought this 2008 Hyundai Santa Fe after a lot of looking at various SUVs. Our first choice was the Highlander, but they are very high priced. We ended up with the Santa Fe because it was a lot of vehicle for the money. About $5,000 cheaper than a comparable Highlander. We are very satisfied with it. It is a very nice vehicle in all aspects. We would highly recommend it to anyone.
