Overview & Reviews
One of Hyundai's longest-running nameplates, the Santa Fe is a car-based crossover SUV aimed at buyers seeking the elevated ride height and useful cargo area of a traditional utility vehicle in an easy-to-drive package. Modern versions of the Hyundai Santa Fe are midsize with three rows of seating, quality cabin furnishings and user-friendly tech features. Whether you're shopping for a new or used Santa Fe, value is a big part of its appeal. The standard equipment list is generous, as is Hyundai's warranty coverage.
Earlier versions of the Hyundai Santa Fe range from compact to midsize in dimensions and have seating for five passengers. The 2007 and later models are a big step up in styling, performance and interior space, and they're worth considering if you're shopping for a used midsize crossover. Hyundai has since subdivided the Santa Fe line into two models: the two-row Santa Fe Sport and the three-row Santa Fe. The latter is more luxurious than its predecessors, offering premium styling and plenty of power.

Love my 2016 Limited Ultimate AWD! - 2016 Hyundai Santa Fe
By MH - October 14 - 10:54 am"We traded in our 2014 Santa Fe Sport for the bigger 2016 Santa Fe. We love the Ultimate package.. it has everything we could ever want...with bang for the buck.We shopped for the Kia Sorento, Honda Pilot,Nissan Pathfinder and going back to Hyundai was a no brainer. We spent about 10k less than similar cars with similar packages. Owning a Hyundai today is definitely not owning a Hyundai 10 years ago..they are doing an awesome job of keeping up with the competition. I mostly drive around my kids with it..they absolutely love the captains chairs.Going grocery shopping is easy with the automatic gate lift. The navigation is easy to use. Having the AWD has been awesome in the snow. As for reliability.. My old 2014 Santa Fe Sport only went to the dealer for oil changes..never had a problem with it.. so I am very confident with this one. We have gotten many compliments on its looks.

One Hot SUV - 2003 Hyundai Santa Fe
By HookedonSanteFe - October 9 - 10:00 amThis is one HOT SUV! I test drove the Jeep Liberty first and then the Sante Fe. As soon as we took off for the test drive, my wife and I looked at each other and said this in the one! The 3.5L is powerful and much faster than the 2.7L. The back seat is very roomy (much more than the Liberty). Headroom is not too bad either. Im 64" and have plenty of room. Handling is excellent! The Sante Fe is definitely a head turner.

Honda Girl Turned Hyundai - 2010 Hyundai Santa Fe
By Krystal - October 6 - 9:10 amMy first non-Honda car and I am impressed. This SUV appears to have a smaller trunk space than I am used to but not a show stopper. There are a/c vents on the sides of the door in the back, which causes the air to circulate better than being on the back of the center console for the back seaters. The ride is smooth and I dont hear the thumping sound that others are complaining about. I do have a concern with the exterior door handles as they seem like they arent too sturdy. All in all, I am very pleased!

2007 Santa Fe AWD GLS 2.7L engine - 2007 Hyundai Santa Fe
By jsfish100 - September 21 - 8:23 pmWith all the extras you get that other SUV manufactures charge extra for, you can not beat the price of the Santa Fe. Recommend anyone interested in a SUV to check it out.

Intelligent Choice - 2002 Hyundai Santa Fe
By Happy Cruiser - September 20 - 10:00 amJust purchased my first new car. It has been only a week but I am already in love with my new Santa Fe. Ive been looking at Honda CRV and Toyota RAV4, but decided to go with Hyundai Santa Fe, biggest bang for a buck. Warranty is awesome, that was another decision factor. Lots of standard features, the only options I took are ABS with Traction Control.

Excellent Value - 2007 Hyundai Santa Fe
By Paul Hickey - September 17 - 3:16 amWere just over 3000 miles into our new Santa Fe which we bought after a 5 minute test drive having read the reviews on line. Wow what a motor, my wife has moved from Mercedes Benz to Hyundai and no wonder what a super product. We test drove the new 2008 C Class today just to compare the two brands. The Santa Fe 3.3ltr Ltd edition in Black with Cream Leather interior and the high driving position wins hands down. We had a spin in the 2.7 litre version which also impressed however the bigger engine makes a massive difference to the overall driving experience. For those of you lucky enough to own the new Santa Fe happy motoring for those of you who are still sitting on the fence enjoy the view

Excellent bumper to bumper warranty. Low maintenance other than 60k timing belt replacement costs. Id buy another when Im ready.

I love my Santa Fe - 2004 Hyundai Santa Fe
By longing4nc - September 11 - 10:00 amI had seen the Santa Fe and was very impressed with the body style and the over all appeareance of the vehicle. I test drove several other vehicles before coming to hyundai. Once I took a test drive I was sold. This vehicle handles very well on the road especially on long trips. It is roomy and very comfortable. I find that I dont get as tired driving with the Santa fe as I did with my old vehicle. I would recommend this vehicle to anyone that is looking for a great vehicle.

Good choice - 2004 Hyundai Santa Fe
By cshaw - September 11 - 10:00 amAfter months of exhaustive car research, we chose the Santa Fe. It has the safety features I want and the warranty cant be beat. The engine has plenty of torque and is quite peppy with the manual transmission. We got a great price and they knocked $500 off the price of the extended warranty. Ride is pretty smooth. Cabin is well laid out.

The Santa Fe - 2002 Hyundai Santa Fe
By Hyundai convert - September 7 - 2:00 amThis SUV is fun to drive. We have received excellent gas mileage for an SUV. We average 24 on the highway and 21 in town. The only downfall of owning the Santa Fe is that now we see them everywhere! We liked being one in a handful of customers who knew about this secret.
