Overview & Reviews
Hyundai decided to expand its product offerings in 2007 with the Entourage, its first-ever minivan, but the experiment was short-lived. Essentially a rebadged Kia Sedona, the Entourage was actually an impressive effort while it lasted. It had a smooth ride and strong acceleration, as well as outstanding crash-test scores and solid build quality. The Hyundai Entourage clearly had a lot to offer.
Still, Hyundai's first attempt in the minivan market bit the dust after just three years on the market, with poor sales performance being the primary culprit. As a pre-owned option, however, the Entourage is rather enticing. It's got most of the practicality and features of the big minivan names, and you'll probably be able to get a great deal on one. If it's maximum value you're after, a used example of the universally competent Hyundai Entourage won't steer you wrong.
Most Recent Hyundai Entourage
Produced from 2007 to 2009, the Hyundai Entourage minivan was mechanically related to the second-generation Kia Sedona. Power initially came from a 3.8-liter V6 rated at 242 hp and 251 lb-ft of torque, but 2008 saw an increase to 250 hp and 253 lb-ft. The three trim levels for '07 were base GLS, midrange SE and luxurious Limited; the SE was dropped for '08.
The GLS offered standard features like removable second-row captain's chairs and a 60/40-split, fold-flat third-row seat with in-floor storage. Also onboard were staples like tri-zone air-conditioning and a CD stereo (which included satellite radio and a USB jack for '09). Antilock brakes, stability control and a full complement of airbags were standard as well. The Limited offered heated power seats, leather upholstery, dual power-sliding doors, a power tailgate, automatic climate control and premium sound. A navigation system was unavailable, however.
The Entourage's interior was pleasant-looking, if a bit unremarkable. Materials quality was decent, but the cabin lacked the polish of some of the more expensive minivans. There was no shortage of legroom in all three rows, though families with teenagers may find rear headroom snug. The second-row seats were easily adjustable, allowing you to divvy up space as your needs dictate. But the third-row bench sat very close to the floor, and therefore wasn't a good fit for most adults.
In our reviews, the Hyundai Entourage scored high marks for its powerful V6 and comfortable ride. For everyday driving duties, the Entourage was one of the most pleasant entrants in this segment. In consumer reviews, the Entourage is typically praised for its versatile cabin and brisk acceleration. Given Hyundai's vastly improved reputation for reliability, we would recommend considering a used Entourage without hesitation.

Finest Vehicle Ever! - 2007 Hyundai Entourage
By Fred G Fowler - February 27 - 3:41 pmMy last van was a Town & Country and I was planing to purchase another one, however, after test driving most of the vans on the market including the Hyundai Entourage, I believe the Entourage is the finest vehicle I have ever owned. The smooth ride, very powerful engine, I love everything about the vehicle. I purchased the high end Limited model with the ultimate package. The leather seats are very comfortable. The second row captain seats move back and forth. The third row seats can be folded into the floor. The five speed automatic with overdrive allows great gas mileage around 25 MPG with the engine at around 2 grand on the tack at 75 MPH. A very fine vehicle, bar none. Thank you!

Verdict still out - 2007 Hyundai Entourage
By blue17 - February 26 - 10:37 pmFun to drive and overall nice looking van. Reliability is the question? Van did not start six times this winter. Found out there is a TSB on the junction box/fuse assembly. Just brought in for the second time for this issue. Dealer replaced battery. Hope this does the trick as I really like the van(when it starts).

Cant beat the warranty - 2007 Hyundai Entourage
By MTL - February 25 - 9:06 pmThe transmission self destructed on our 1998 Sienna XLE. We werent planning on a new vehicle purchase so another Sienna XLE was just plain out of our price range. We found an 2007 SE with nearly all of the bells and whistles of the Limited. It landed right in our price range. We will miss our Sienna (it is going to be donated), but the Entourage is bigger, faster, quieter, and has tons more safety and convenience features, while getting the same or better fuel economy. Lastly, it is nice to have a warranty that outlasts the payments. We even upgraded the bumper to bumper to cover the bells and whistles. At the price we got it for ($7000 below MSRP), we could afford to.

Never thought Id buy a Hyundai - 2007 Hyundai Entourage
By SAL - January 10 - 1:49 pmOk, Im the last person that would think Id buy a Hyundai. But I test drove th Entorage and I was hooked. Quieter that a Honda as well appointed as a Toyota and for thousands less! Forget what you think you know about Hyundai. This is just as nice as anything else I test drove. The 100k warranty is just the kicker it took for me to write the check. You owe it to yourself to try one out if you are in the market for a minivan.

Good Value - 2007 Hyundai Entourage
By HandyDan - December 20 - 10:43 pmBought in 04/07, had some problems with knocking in front end early on, was some bushings which dealer fixed. Mileage has been around 16 in mixed c/h with 22/23 hw going about 75mph. First tried Toy/Honda but similar quality with this and this has better warr. Nice inside and out. Great standard CD/Stereo sound system. Very good power in engine/transmission with smooth ride, low noise. Heated seats/dual power drs are really nice, wish I had bought the pw rear dr. Im 62", 250lb and have plenty of room in all rows of seats. More color options would be nice. Havent had any of problems encountered by some other listed here. Wife and I and 2 kids have been happy.

Vivs Entourage - 2007 Hyundai Entourage
By Vivian Kowalski - December 1 - 9:34 amYou have to floor it to pull out in a yield situation, not good in rush hour traffic. Parking brake doesnt work properly. I had it repaired 4 times, still makes noise. The steering wheel doesnt fit the seat postion. I need the seat back for my long legs but the steering wheel doesnt pull out to meet my arm position Im comfortable with. No automatic lock, in this day and age, this is a must. I have a note to remind me to lock doors. This is my 4th minivan, my other used vans had this feature.

if no leaks no problems - 2007 Hyundai Entourage
By terry overholser - November 5 - 3:36 amcontroI have had this van in two dealerships and a total of five vists and had to drive over 500 miles of the 3000 miles and been without the van for over a week while it was repaired. It has needed a radiator replacement and numerous other leaks in the heating system. This van has been towed twice and driven back 3 times for the leaks. I contacted Hyundai consumer assistane and basically was told they would help the dealership fix the vehicle but did not offer any replacement. I feel this van should be yellow instead of red. When it runs this is very great van.
