What a Great Car!!! - 2006 Hyundai Azera
By Simon Steele - November 22 - 9:33 pmDid a lot of research on similar cars before purchasing - Toyota Avalon, Lexus and Ford 500. None of these cars offered all of the options for the price!! We got the Limited with the Ultimate package. Beautiful car........it was a hard sell to my husband who wanted a Lexus, but since he has driven over the past month, he loves the car too!! Great Warranty - watch out everyone Hyundai is on the move.

Best value/most luxury for my $$ - 2006 Hyundai Azera
By Lee - October 25 - 10:03 amThis is the 3rd Hyundai that I have purchased. My first was a 2003 Santa Fe, 3.5L, which I loved so much that I purchased a 2003 Elantra for my mother. She feels that the Elantra is the best car she has ever owned! I traded my Santa Fe when I decided to purchase a more fuel efficient vehicle because of the amount of driving that I do. I had only stopped into the Hyundai dealership to look at the new Azera model that had just become available.....and the rest is history. It only took me a test drive and I was hooked. The luxury that Azera Limited offers is far greater that the price paid. Did I mention that I LOVE this car?????????!!!

Luxury without guilt - 2006 Hyundai Azera
By Dennis - October 23 - 6:46 amI can afford almost any normal car. I saw the 350 at an auto show a year ago and was prepaired to buy one in August. The dealer had several on the lot but made sure I knew a whole new version was coming out in the Fall, which was nice. I waited-actually until 12/13 for the first one to come in. The Azera was 50%+ better in all respects than the 350. Without the closeout discounts it costs $5000+ more than the 350, but worth it: performance features, size, looks. My co-workers (Lexus, BMW, Mercedes types) sneered when I said I was getting a Hyundai, But have shut-up as soon as they saw the Azera in person. I paid 5% less than sticker and think the car is grat AND a bargain.

What a ride!!!!! - 2006 Hyundai Azera
By J-Nut - October 20 - 7:40 amPurchased the car and took it for a test spin of 1,800 miles round trip. Needless to say the car and I bonded. I have never had so much fun driving. I actually look forward to driving and sometimes find myself looking for ways to make my drive time longer. The interior comfort is beyond perfection. The performance is outstanding. With 263 horses, who needs a sports car (which by the way the last two cars I owned were). I have owned a Hyundai in the past & sold it to a family member. Now 8 years later it still looks great. If this car performs as I expect, it will be in our family for a long time. Thanks Hyundai for a dependable and well appointed alternative.

Best value for the Money - 2006 Hyundai Azera
By TASI - August 14 - 10:33 pmAfter several researches and comparisions and of course test drive comparisons with other cars in this class, Hyundai Azera came out on top. Lots of amenities that are standard with the Azera you would have to pay hundreds more with other cars in its, IF its offered. Bottom line is best value for the money without sacrificing quality. Good job Hyundai. Keep it up. Never considered a Hyundai before until now.

Owners Manual Inaccurate - 2006 Hyundai Azera
By 1st Hyundai - July 21 - 10:43 pmThe automobile has nice appointments for a car in this price range. The interior looks as good as any premium auto I have seen. The care drives capably, but does not have a very sporting character. I wish the suspension was a bit tighter. My biggest problem to date is the ambiguous owners manual. It states in the manual that the outside mirrors should automatically drop when the car is placed in reverse. The dealer told me the manual has a misprint. Part of the reason I bought the car was for this feature. This disappoints me, because no one at Hyundai can tell me why this is the case. I believe this should have been included in the features on the car, but due to budget was delet

I expected more for the price!!! - 2006 Hyundai Azera
By CLG - June 27 - 10:43 amI was really looking forward to this model coming out but must say that I am now disappointed in the overall package. Paid MSRP which is a crime itself but I was eager to buy. So far gas mileage is a dismal 19 mpg city/hwy mix. Suspension is flimsy and floaty, doesnt handle corners very well. I should have paid a little extra and bought a TL instead. Live and learn, live and learn.

WOW - 2006 Hyundai Azera
By windycity7 - May 19 - 5:50 pmLove these forums. i was looking at the Lexus ES330 or Toyota Avalon when these boards highlighted the problems with the Toyotas and kept comparing it against the Hyundai Azera. After driving it against the Lexus and Toyota, it was no contest. I am the very happy owner of the Hyundai Azera Limited after being a Loyal Volvo owner. This car is so luxurious, too bad people still perceive Hyundai as low quality - but I expect that to change very quickly in the next few years! Also, buying was so easy and no high pressure salesmen - i had an internet manager (woman) and a salesperson (woman).
