  • Excellent value - 2005 Hyundai Accent

Escellent on gas (30 mpg with automatic transmission), but not a "flashy car." Inside in basic, synthetic materials. Stereo is pretty good, however. Plenty of leg and head room for front seat drivers (Im 6 feet, 190lbs). Overall, a great value. OH- and dont think this car is slow! If you want to do 85 on the highway, this car will satisfy the speedy traveller.

The Accent is definitely economical but it offers a rough ride. The engine is loud especially when accelerating quickly. The ride is stiff (not floaty) you know you are in a small car when you drive it. It will get up and go if you push it but dont plan on any long drives with a car full of people in comfort. Overall I would rate it at about a 6 or 7. It would make a great first car because of the Parking capabilities, fuel economy, low price and warranty. Seasoned drivers are bound to be disapointed. Just try to remember this car is not intended to handle like a Camero or even a Corolla. It is a compact car and performs like a compact should.

  • So far money well spent - 2005 Hyundai Accent

Waited to submit the review until I could actually review it properly. After one year of owning the car and driving back and forth to work all I can say is.. Im impressed. 5 speed allows me to grab some decent speed from a pretty small engine and the fit and finish of the vehicle still impresses me. I even took it camping last summer and managed to get all the equiment, three people and a dog in.... Wow... Love the hatchback.

  • Solid Vehicle For The Price - 2005 Hyundai Accent

If dont expect too much from an $8000 vehicle, this car will not disappoint. It gets great mileage, and has been 100% dependable.

I would buy this car all over again. It is a hatchback, people look at it as there not many of this style around my area.

  • Love my Hyundai - 2005 Hyundai Accent

I purchased this car because of the price and outside looks of the car as well as the millage of the car. My friend worked at the dealership I bought it from because he said it was the best car for the price range I was looking for. Its a little small and confind but you cant beat the price, the warranty or the performance it gives you. Its easy to handle and its smooth ride on highway driving is great. The seats are a little too stiff but I guess its to be expected with a base car.

  • My little Hyundai - 2005 Hyundai Accent

Since Im so tall, Ive found that this model doesnt have a lot of leg room. The steering wheel doesnt tilt, so I have to constantly scrunch down to see my odometer. Other than that....this is a great little car! It gets me where I want to go, and I dont really need to keep an eye on the gas prices b/c I dont fill up very often (even though I drive everywhere).

  • Good car - 2005 Hyundai Accent

Seems to be a good little car. very good on the gas. runs well and can move when needed, with a manual transmission.

  • Solid Economy Car for not a lot of $$$ - 2005 Hyundai Accent
    By -

Just buy one already ! Great economy car. Fun to drive character, good ergonomics inside, and most notably great passing power on the highway. One month so far and Ive put it through the paces and it does great. If you can afford it get the Honda Civic but buying the Accent will save you between 2-4k easy +Interest. Transmission shifts much better than I had anticipated and DOES NOT HUNT FOR GEARS. Hill climbing so far has been easy. City mileage could be better, running about 22 right now. Trunk is large for this size car. Hyundai has really come into the market with products that are 80% as good as Honda and Toyota and cost less. Interior is bland but nice.
