The Hummer H3 sees both aesthetic and functional changes for 2007. A new "H3X" trim level includes chrome accents (including front brush guard and wheels), embroidered headrests and unique colors. Stability control becomes standard, the engine becomes more powerful and the powertrain warranty is extended to five years/100,000 miles.
- Very capable off-road, smooth highway ride, stable handling, stylish interior with simple controls, comfortable seats.
- Tepid performance, low tow rating, lousy outward visibility for shorter drivers, below-average cargo space.

H3 fan - 2007 Hummer H3
By Uzi - August 6 - 5:17 amIve wanted an H3 ever since I first rented one in Jackson Hole a number of years ago. I searched and searched until I found just the one I wanted. Overall, they have an awesome look, and are a serious 4X4. I have owned a number of four wheel drives over the years, yet this has been one of my favorites. I get around 13 to 14 MPG. No, they dont get great fuel economy, and I knew that going in. If you want good fuel mileage buy a Prius or some other econo box. And yes, they are also very underpowered unless you have the V8 engine. Those are two issues that an H3 owner just has to deal with, but dont let these two minor issues dissuade you from owning an H3 if you have your heart set on one. There are also loads of cool aftermarket parts avaliabe to pimp out your H3, if your so inclined to make it a personalized money pit. My H3 is fire engine red and completely loaded with cool accessories including a Warn winch. I love my H3! I live in Northern Idaho, and spend my winters on the ski slopes and summers exploring off-road. I plan on keeping this ride until I cant find parts for it any longer.

By clyde reed - October 17 - 3:55 pmi love this car had it 2 years. the one problum is the check engine light comes on alot. always shows as a miss in the engine. first it was a coil. then fuel injectors. then cant figure it out.

By shoragirl - August 13 - 10:55 pmI bought my 2007 hummer h3 2 years ago and I honestly love it, however I have spent $4,000 for a transmission rebuild..shocks..2 radiators..water pump..etc. (its an automatic) It is paid for and Im keeping it because I really love the style and its a classy off road SUV!! I just wish it was more reliable!!

I pulled a 75k tractor trailer without a wheel spin and have the video to back it. You can accessorize to your hearts content. Not made for speed but will go when you have to.

Hate to See the H3 Go ! - 2007 Hummer H3
By robertHummer - April 9 - 9:47 pmAfter 3 years and 50k miles, the lease is up. Hummer was a trip to own. No major problems . I would say the windows are too small and going to a "drive through" is torturous. I have to contort myself to get to the bank teller or McDonalds window. Overall H3 was slightly underpowered. The interior space seamed cramped. I dont think they designed the 07 with BIG PEOPLE in mind. I was uncomfortable . I enjoyed the response of people who were excited by its design. Comfort in a car is most important. It is a magnet for people though. I felt luxury from others but it lacked comfort from its design. I hope they improve.I wish Hummer Well!

I have owned Range Rovers, Land Cruisers, Nissans and they are not even close. There is nothing to dislike about this vehicle. Sure you hear complaints from other people and manufactures but trust me drive one and you will be hooked like me. Best off I bought a 2007 with 35k miles for $18k.

Best 4X4 Ive ever owned - 2007 Hummer H3
By Calibrator - August 6 - 8:59 pmI bought our 2007 Hummer H3 used from our Hummer dealer with 22,000 miles. Black with Black leather interior with chrome accents. This vehicle turns heads! Great sound system. The interior control knows are nice a big (to match the vehicle) and function great. The sunroof is huge! I mainly bought this as our alternate vehicle for weekend fun and harsh weather. I cant wait for snow! It has an extremely tight turning radius. It is a pleasure to drive. It handles well at highway speeds. Fuel economy is okay but on par with other SUVs and minivans! Ive owned Jeeps amd Yukons and this is by far the best of all! My Jeeps or Yukons never turned heads like this 4X4! Awesome!

Get a Hummer - 2007 Hummer H3

I have always liked the Hummers and when the H3 came out I had to get one. I have a problem spending $42,000 for one so I waited and bought one used. I use my Hummer for my daily driver and my off road adventures. It is fun to drive in town but really comes alive off road! This truck offeres the best of both worlds, luxury for the refined and ruggedness for the adventurous! My H3 is stock and with the adventure package and rear locker, it can go places other stock 4x4s cant.

Solid performer - 2007 Hummer H3
By keith - January 17 - 3:11 pmI find this vehicle to have adequate power and the off road performance is exceptional. Mine is stock and it is the best off roader I have had. Highway mileage however is not what was advertised. The 20 mpg must have been calculated going downhill. Get 14 in town and 17 on highway. Have a few minor rattles and would like to see less plastic used on interior, cargo room could be improved. Also would like more cubby holes for various items. Overall a good truck

By H3 Tactical Rocks - August 19 - 1:14 amI love my H3 Tactical Edition, it sports NJ Devil colors-Red/Black. I get looks from other H3s with their lame chrome packages, as this one stands out even more than they do with all that chrome. Chrome on a mountain climber? What? Color matching grille and black brush guard and tube steps and unassuming black stealthy spare tire cover make this the sweetest factory version of all H3s produced and thank God (for me) GM only made 1000 of these! Turning radius is unbelievably tight and bigger 3.7 does just fine on fuel with a nice throaty growl!
