  • The Cruck - 2006 Honda Ridgeline

I have owned my Ridgeline for about a month and bought it to take the place of my Prelude and my Ranger...neither of which had a back seat (for all practical purposes) for our new baby. It has been the perfect answer to all of my needs. What else can haul five people comfortably, a truck bed full of mulch, and a trunk full of groceries (under the mulch) at the same time??? Its awesome! My wife hated the looks but after riding in it and using it she loves it! This car/truck ("Cruck") is what Ive been waiting for. The cabin is quieter than my wifes Accord. The acceleration is great. I would recommend this cruck to anyone without hesitation.

Have had no trouble except for engine light coming on. This is after the Check Gas Cap warning scrolls across for two start-ups, then the third is the engine light. It is now in the shop to hopefully fix it.

  • Just Right - 2006 Honda Ridgeline

Needed something reliable that was comfortable and would fit in garage. The Rigdeline is perfect. Holds anything I would ever carry. Does not beat you to death on rough roads, and the 4 wheel drive is exactly what I need--extra grip in rain and snow--- I will never be up some western canyon running over boulders in super low range, and neither will 98% of all other truck drivers I know. Just a great vehicle with decent gas mileage. Exterior styling is bulky, but safe. Maybe we could get one of those Italian stylists to do the first 4 year makeover. Then it would be perfect.

  • Ride like a ridge... - 2006 Honda Ridgeline

The Ridgelines interior is spacious. Lots of leg room for front and rear passengers. Headroom is big. Ease of use of A/C, radio and CD. No need to crawl from your seat to reach a certain knob. The exterior is like youve never seen in a truck before. Roomy bed, with a hidden closet under the bed. Now the tailgate is a must to mention, its got dual action. Pull it down or just swing it to the side. The V6 3.5L is just right for me. With its gas prices now, good thing they only make it in a V6.

We bought our Ridgeline , because first it is a Honda, secondly it has features that other truck manufacturers havent thought of or didnt care to engineer the equipment to function correctly. I dont usually purchase a first year model vehicle, but I have to GIVE EXCEPTION to Honda, they have shown, in the past, the desire to try to make a vehicle that seems to last forever. Every vehicle has a certain amount of upkeep, Honda is no exception, but if you service your Honda regulary, I believe, you will in return receive years of worry free driving.

  • Great Truck! - 2006 Honda Ridgeline

If you want a vehicle that can do it all get the Ridgeline. Four doors, a truck bed with trunk, large interior, 4wd, smooth handling, and good MPG make this a good truck. Ive put 5,000 miles on mine and it has been great. The ride is smoother than any other truck out there. And the power is good, you dont have the grunt power of the V8 trucks, but I have no problems merging. And overall my MPG since Ive had it is about 17.6 MPG and 80% of what I drive is city. I will have this truck for a long time, and if this truck interests you at all you should give it a test drive.

  • We Love Our Ridgeline! - 2006 Honda Ridgeline

After three months and 6,000 miles, including a 3,500 mile roundtrip journey between Ohio and Texas, my wife and I love our Ridgeline. Its everything as advertised, and more. The ride is unbelievably smooth, quiet and comfortable. The dual climate control is fantastic. The EPA Mileage Rating of 21 MPG rang true. The in- bed trunk provides all the secure storage space one could ask for, and its truly weather proofed. We drove through some serious thunderstorms, and several car washes to get the road grime off. Not a drop of water got inside the trunk. It also makes a great tailgate ice chest, too. Ridgeline is truly the wave of the future for any truck/suv owner.

I shopped extensively before buying this vehicle. I decided on the Ridgeline because of Hondas reputation for quality and its practicality. It doesnt handle the way most trucks do. Its about the same length as a single cab pickup so parking lots are easy! The truck hasnt developed any rattles and the road noise in muted, umlike my first Honda, the Pilot. I kept that Honda two months before trading it for a Chevrolet truck. I am so much happier with this truck than the Pilot. The seats will make you feel like driving for hours. The navigation ,satellite radio are wonderful, though I found myself in front of a residential home rather than a pancake house in San Antonio.

Traded in our 2004 Odyssey on the 06 Ridgeline -- its a great vehicle. Comfortable, stylish and wonderful for long-distance travel. Hondas innovative storage solutions are great and the sound system is beyond our expectations. Can you tell we love our new Ridgeline?
