Great Truck - 2006 Honda Ridgeline
By racecars - January 7 - 6:45 pmI test drove every truck out there before I purchased this truck and 16 months and 17000 miles later I love it more then ever. The only problem I have is keeping my wife from taking my Ridgeline, which she prefers to drive over her infiniti.

Perfecy Pick Up - 2006 Honda Ridgeline
By Ron - January 1 - 12:00 pmI have has the Ridgeline 18 months, perfect pick up. I even towed another car 1400 miles, ample horse power. Still have not seen a better performance truck. Front wheel drive/AWD is the smartest feature, awesome in the snow. Average 18-19 mpg.

My first Honda Truck - 2006 Honda Ridgeline
By Carr - December 25 - 11:08 amWithout a doubt my Ridgeline was the best truck I could find. I had owed six Preludes and one Passport but I love my Ridgeline too. Youll want one of these...

Ridgeline Disappointment - 2006 Honda Ridgeline
By gjj - December 11 - 7:25 pmAfter 11 months of ownership, and 6 trips to the dealership for repairs, I have decided to sell. Rear window that would not roll back up (11 miles on truck), front strut coils would bind and then release when turning the wheel (3 trips to repair shop on this problem alone). The large back side panel would flex in while reaching into the bed for items, and then pop back out, leaving a noticeable dent (3 in 11 months from lifting bikes out of the bed). There were numerous, loud rattles in the dash area, and a very loud buzzing noise when driving at freeway speeds. Gas mileage well below sticker estimates. Limited leg room, at 65" this truck was not comfortable.

Glad I waited - 2006 Honda Ridgeline
By TMAN - December 10 - 12:00 amWas looking at the new Tacoma, but I am glad I waited. The Ridgeline is much nicer. The ride is great and has some terrific options. My wife loves it and she didnt really want a truck.

SUV + Truck = Ridgeline - 2006 Honda Ridgeline
By jeantrot - December 9 - 11:46 amGreat comfort and options at a reasonable price. The quality of the features more than justify the slightly higher price than other midsize trucks (Frontier and Tacoma) The Ridgeline is actually cheaper than a similar equipped Dakota except that you cant get the big V8 power. Its a cross between the SUV that my wife wanted and the truck I wanted. At first glance the styling is strange but it grows on you very quickly - if you like the look of the Avalanche you will love the look of the Ridgeline.

Ridgeline - the truck for the rest of us - 2006 Honda Ridgeline
By Stew - December 3 - 3:16 pmIm not a construction contractor and will never carry 2000 lbs of gravel in the back of a truck. I just need a truck to get to work, carry camping gear, bikes, dogs and kayaks, and get me through snow and mud. I dont WANT a truck, just an SUV that will let me haul big stuff occasionally and tow my camper. The Ridgeline will do all that for me in perfect comfort, without feeling like Im driving a big, ponderous truck. Plus I get better gas mileage than a V8. My wife loves the electric seat controls, particularly that she can raise the seat up to make it easier to look out the back window to back up. I love that I can push the seat back far enough to stretch out.
