Overview & Reviews
Prelude gets another five horsepower, bringing it up to 200 horsepower with the manual transmission and 195 horsepower with the automatic. A remote keyless entry system is added, as is an air filtration system, mesh-style grille and new interior color choices.
- Lots of power, distinctive styling, and room for four.
- Limited headroom, and the Accord has a more attractive interior.

Its gone - 1999 Honda Prelude
By hipster - July 1 - 2:00 amI purchased a new prelude 3 years ago and it was a great car except for one thing, it burned a quart of oil every 1,000 miles since the day I got it. My dealer contacted honda and they said that was acceptable (refused to do anything, even though I was a loyal customer for the past 15 years). Even my service rep thought that was bull. I just traded for a mini cooper.Goodbye honda!

Best Sports Coupe...Ever! - 1999 Honda Prelude
By h0rde - March 21 - 2:00 amI bought my Prelude from my boss when he decided to buy a BMW M Roadster...I knew that I had to have it as soon as I found out that it was for sale. Its a blast to drive and I really like the styling, inside and out. There isnt a day that goes by in which I dont smile because I own one of these.

I luv my Lude - 1999 Honda Prelude
By kenjabi - February 26 - 1:32 pmIve only had my Prelude for a few months now, but Im loving it. Good handling, good power all the way to redline, and when VTEC kicks in, look out. Sport shift may be nice, but the 5 speeds the way to go.
