Try again HONDA! - 2003 Honda Pilot
By RAM II - May 29 - 10:00 amI traded my 01 Accord EX on the Pilot. I was sure the Pilot would be as nice as the Accord...WRONG!! Road, wind, and tire noise is TERRIBLE! The interior shakes and rattles like a Chevy! Too much plastic inside. HVAC Vents break with the slightest bump. Leather is OK, but seats feel like a park bench. Lots of features for the price, but Honda had to sacrifice something....Quality!

Love our Pilot - 2003 Honda Pilot
By alane - February 28 - 10:00 amWeve only had our Pilot for a little over a month but weve done quite a bit of traveling in that time. Great solid car - handles curves like a dream. I really feel in control. Very tight. We lost space in going from a van but with a cargo box on top, were good to go. Kids LOVE the DVD player (I have to balance it with their reading!)The versatility with the 3rd seat is perfect for us.

Could be better - 2003 Honda Pilot
By All-Honda family - February 22 - 10:00 amWe bought our Pilot last summer right after introduction. It has proven great in snow. However, road noise is excessive, and vibration from day one at about 65. Now we are told tires are cupping and need to be replaced at 20,000 miles +/-. Also, driver door does not fit tightly, squeeks while driving. Plastic on door pillar easily scratched by seat belt. Now we received a recall (called an "adjustment") about late-deploying airbags.
