The Odyssey gains a number of improvements this year. Included with the Odyssey 2.1 upgrade is more power, a new five-speed transmission, standard rear disc brakes and side airbags, optional leather seating and DVD entertainment, two new exterior colors and minor interior storage refinements.

• Excellent crash-test scores, huge interior, fold-flat third-row seat, powerful V6, optional navigation and entertainment system, a bargain at sticker price.

• Slow power sliding doors, dealer markup still a possibility.

  Way over rated - 2002 Honda Odyssey

  Nothing but trouble with the van and Honda. Sliding doors rattle and squeak, dash rattles and squeaks, windshield whistles at freeway speeds, gas sloshing in tank noise, brakes clunk when reversing direction (beware, Honda says it is normal for their vans. Wait for the 2004 Ford Windstar. Its going to blow Honda away.

  The 2002 Odyssey sets the mark for Mini Vans. I have had two Chrysler products, one a Dodge Caravan, and then the top of the line Town and Country. The 2002 Odyssey simply outclasses the Chrysler products. Although there are more features on the Chrysler products (trip computer, power lift gate, center console etc.) the smooth power, and superior handling of the Odyssey sets it apart.

  I love this minivan than anything. It is a combination of luxury, power, and design. I trade-in my 2001 honda accord v6 with this minivan, I was a little upset when I did that but now I am 100% convinced, I did the best thing after driving this vehilce for over 8 months now.

  This van is fun to drive. Has lots of pick up. Had one problem with it, but it was fixed. Great service.

  I have only had the Odyssey for a week, but am delighted with this van. I have previously owned vans, but this is the best one yet. It is also superior to any other van out there, including the Siena for handling, comfort and value.

  Great vehicle. Lousy fuel economy. Have had our 2001 for 9 months and 13000 miles. Have had no problems and we love the vehicle...except for the 16-18 mpg.

  i was weary of getting a van.. now that i got an oddy.. i love it!! doors are a bit noisy.. do hear the slush from the fuel compartment.. but other than that.. its great.. ps. where are the last pair of speakers?? i have the EX-L and i only see 4 grills...
