  • Great little car - 2007 Honda Fit

I have been very pleased with my Honda Fit. My basic manual version gets 37 mpg regularly, which is about equal to the goverment estimates. It is the first car that I have had to come even close to the expected fuel economy. I am particularly pleased with the extremely low rolling resistance. It gives a sense of frugality and adds to the engines performance.

I have the Blaze Orange Fit and this is the smartest car I have ever owned! I love the looks and enjoy the utility. I am an outdoor cat so I love the fact that I can put my bike in it with relative ease and it will hold a great deal of cargo for camping and hiking trips. Looking at it from the outside, you would never guess how much head room and utility it actually has on the inside! It is a very comfortable ride for such a small car and the gas mileage is outstanding.

Driving this car around, you would never think it was underpowered with the 1.5L engine. I bought this car based on the purpose of commuting 160 miles a day in the near future. After taking a small roadtrip, I got 36 mpg highway and A/C running almost all the time. You might of read reviews of the car not having an arm rest, but Ive really hardly noticed it missing. One of my favorite features is the AUX input for the stereo for my Sony MP3 player. While others say the suspension is firm, I believe that its perfect for a daily driver. The 5 speed transmission shifts smooth and accurate. I highly recommend the Fit for those that need an affordable car with just the right amenities.

No problems or silly mark ups, put down payment on one of them and it was at the dealer in two day with everything my fiance and i wanted. Great little car that hardly feels cheap or little!

  • Not totally impressed - 2007 Honda Fit

Acceleration onto a highway or passing requires some thought. The Auto could end up being deadly slow. The paddle shifters cannot be used when there is any angle on the steering wheel. Because it is an economy car there are compromises. The carpeting is about 2 steps above roofing felt paper. With a little more HP and torque this car would be an absolute hoot.

I was really not even going to look at the fit but my mechanic encouraged me to. Well Im pleasantly suprised. Its got the fuel economy for my weekday commute and lots of space for my weekend dogwalks and camping trips. Its got more zip than you would think but its not the Civic and it does get chucked around a bit in high winds. Bad thing is there arent many of them so there are no real good "deals" to be hand. But at the price you really cant got wrong.

For superior fuel economy, reliability, comfort, aesthetics, and just plain fun, the Honda Fit fits. The first two weeks after I bought my new Fit Sport, my daughter and I took my new car on two road trips. It outperformed our expectations in every area. Expect people to ask about your car wherever you go. Its cute and sassy and attracts attention. If MP3 connection, remote keyless entry, and cruise control are important to you, choose the Sport version. The trim that comes standard on the Sport is sexy too! Ive owned Honda 70s CVCC Powder Blue 5 door wagon with manual choke, 80s Civic and Accord, 2000 S2000, (a Volvo850) and now this car. I may have to buy a second Fit for my kid!

  • For the money a winner - 2007 Honda Fit

So far 1126 miles, the fit has lived up to its advertising. I was loading boxes into the back of my Jeep Grand Cherokee and they would not fit so I borrowed my wifes fit and they all went in the back with the rear seat in the up position. The only fault I can find is with the drivers seat back for my legs to stretch (59") my arms are to darn short to reach the steering wheel comfortably. My 53" wife finds it perfect. The sport has a high quality sound system and the vehicle is quiet enough at highway speeds to listen to classical music. Handling is superb and you can do 80 mph and not know it. Honda has a winner so far, all that remains to find out is durability.

  • Wow - Love Our Fit!! - 2007 Honda Fit

We love our new Honda Fit! After test driving both the manual and the automatic, the manual was the way to go! With a manual transmission, you get great control in the acceleration (we traded in our 1990 Acura with a V6 engine). Its quick and responsive and has a great u-turning radius. We cant wait to go on our road trip in August! We plan on driving this car for 20+ years too!
