Love my Honda! - 1995 Honda Civic
By Trish - March 9 - 4:55 amI could NOT have asked for a better first car! I purchased this vehicle my freshman year of college with 220 k miles on it... It now has 251k on it! The only time I have ever broken down in the past two years was when the transmission went out... Which was what I believe to be my own fault! I was told by a friend that I was likely low or out of transmission fluid! Luckily for me my dad has a few mechanical skills so we bought a junk yard tranny for about $300 or 400... Besides that.. I have AMAZING gas mileage when I keep it tuned up. Ive had brake pads changed a couple of times, and headlights a few times few to a short... But this is in a two year span with high mileage so all in all I think its an amazing vehicle!

A good "every day" car!! - 1995 Honda Civic
By Rank - February 24 - 2:00 amFirst, I must apologise for the not so good quality of my english... So, my 93 Chevy broked down last april and I bought this 150 000 Km Honda Civic knowing that its not a sport car, but an economic one! Its realy good at what it is suposed to do! But, I love powerfull cars... so... The 102hp/98lbs.ft. is not satisfying my need for speed! but shes good with my wallet! The most fun to have with a Civic is... at the gas station! but, it still handle very well and, with a manual transmission, it is possible to pass the slow ones on the highway!

95 Civic EX Coupe - 1995 Honda Civic
By Mike - December 20 - 2:08 pmWhat can I say? Its a Honda. Its a great car. When I bought mine, it had 85k on it, now it has around 130k and running strong. Starts every day, runs like a beast. The thing I like is the amount of aftermarket parts. The B16A shouldve been offered.Even though you can get a 5-spd, more power could have been nice although it has a decent amount. It couldve had a little more room in the back seats, but nontheless, its comfortable. I drive pretty hard sometimes and Ive --NEVER-- had any problems with it. I just take it and get the oil changed every 3k miles and have things serviced. Its a very sporty, well-built car and I would --- HIGHLY---- recommend this car to anyone.

Reliable and Economical - 1995 Honda Civic
By EBBcVc95 - December 12 - 10:00 ami had my civic vx for 7 years now and it just given me fun memories from san francisco to san diego to las vegas...If i know someone from any part of the united states, id drive it there...great milage, trouble-free, and still looks great...Ive taken it on and off the highway at big bear, ca where no other car would dare to go...2 of my friends did a 15 miles off-roading and i see people driving trucks laughing at us...the most damaged i got are dents from rocks....that was when my car was 4 years old...still running with no problems now.

superior in its class - 1995 Honda Civic
By HondaConvertee - December 4 - 6:30 amI had thought used Hondas were overpriced. Then I got lucky and found a 95 EX coupe/automatic that was a bargain. Now I gladly pay the premium to buy Honda. Civics are well designed, well built. The EX is sporty, economical, reliable. If I were to give this car a report card, it would get all As, with the one glaring weakness being very poor traction in the snow (special compound snow tires addressed that issue). In sum, the only way you can go wrong buying a used Civic is to overpay for it.

Bring Back The Economical Hatchbacks! - 1995 Honda Civic
By Mary - November 28 - 5:06 amIve had this car since 1997, and the previous owner was going to do an engine swap, but I stopped him by offering a reasonable amount of money. I can tell you that I do not regret buying this car at all. I love how people with gas-guzzling SUVs get surprised at how much this car can carry. Since now, it has been trouble free, and it is very simple and cheap to maintain. Seats are still comfortable. Its environment friendly. I even sold my 97 BMW M3 just to keep my Civic VX. It may not be as fast, but id rather have a safer, reliable, cleaner, more fuel economical car that promises to start every time you turn the key!

Red Civic - 1995 Honda Civic
By Little red Civic - November 3 - 12:43 amI bought this car used in July as I knew the owner. It gets thirty plus mpg but I have gotten over 40 mpg on a trip. So far have put a set of front brakes and rotors, a muffler and adjusted the valves. It has 170000 miles and feels like its good for that many more.
