Model Overview:

Since its launch in 1973, the Honda Civic has been one of the most popular compact cars sold in America. Its success can be attributed in large part to its consistently high level of quality inside and out and its long-standing reputation for reliability and low running costs. Impressive fuel economy and engaging performance have also played a role in making the Civic a top choice for many Americans.

The competition has largely caught up with Honda, though, and there are now many excellent small cars vying for your attention. Still, we continue to recommend the Civic due to its ergonomic interior layout, wide range of models and high resale value. For small-car shoppers in search of a solid used vehicle, the Honda Civic is certainly a smart choice, as its long production run and many variants make it easy to find what you want.

  • Wait another year or two - 2016 Honda Civic

Wait, and I say wait because I am experiencing audio issues. Hence this being a new car, I figured issues would be popping up. The center consoles bluetooth system fades in and out and the Apple Carplay system does the same. Some days it will connect to my phone and some days it works for a few minutes and says "no device connected." Aside from the audio issues, car is great on gas and is understandably one of the top ranked vehicles in its class after looking into the Mazda 3 and Toyota Corolla.

I have had 48 cars in the past 5 years, loved most of them but this Civic is perfect! The car looks amazing inside and out, the look is so modern. The gas prices are rising and I was going to buy my 2nd prius, however fell in love with this little car, I am used to having BMWs and other high end cars, but you cant beat a Honda! This car is really amazing, dont wait run to the Dealer.

  • Disappointed - 2016 Honda Civic

I traded in my 2013 Civic for a new 2016 Civic. I loved my 2013. I do not love my 2016. I have had it for 4 months and already it has had 2 recalls. I hate the technology system, far to complicated to work. In order to turn the radio on you need to click on 3 buttons (Audio, Source, Station). This means you are taking your eyes off the road while driving. The Econ button on the 2013 Civic was right where it should be, on the dash. The 2016 Econ button is located next to the gear shift box and you have to hunt for it. Yes, you can sort of feel for it, but that is a pain and again you are taking yours eyes off the road. When openning the front car door at night the only light that comes in located above in the back seating area, making it difficult to see as you enter the car. The USB and Power port is tucked behind the small tray in the front. A pain to push wires through and connect. My clock is frozen, tells me a different time that the clock on the odometer screen. I have a problem with a noise issue, when you come to a slow stop you can hear your branks making a noise. I brought the car in to the deal for this problem and they cannot fit it, told me the brakes checked out fine and after testing a couple of other 2016 Civics they noticed the same issue on all of them. (Said they would let Honda USA know about this.) All-in-all, I do not like this car and am looking to purchase a different 2016 brand.

  • Great Car!! - 2004 Honda Civic

Purchased my new Civic yesterday from Rudolph Honda, El Paso, TX. Great buying experience and I highly recommend them. Ive owned several Hondas and they keep getting better and better. Ive only had it a day but but after owning Hondas previously, Im sure this one will be as reliable and efficient as my others. It is a lot of fun to drive and the ride and handling are exceptional.

  • 2004 civic SI. A "gem" of a car. - 2004 Honda Civic
    By -

I had a 2002 si that I loved, but I didnt like the 15in. wheels, and the styling was a little bland. They fixed all that with the 2004. Great car. A real sleeper.Im 55 years old, and I think that theres a ton of old farts like me out there would really enjoy this little gem. Fastest car on the road....no. Best milage...no. best all- around value in an economic set of wheels? yup!

  • 2007 Honda Civic EX w/nav - 2007 Honda Civic

I never though i would be a civic owner. To bland etc.... However I now drive 140 miles a day and I had to think of gas cost and reliability. To sum up this car is great! Very comfortable to drive and responds well. For the size of the car it has pretty good pick up. There is wind noise at higher speeds (75-85). The Nav system is great. The interior seems surprisingly more spacious than our subaru. The dual dash does take a little time to get used to but I find that i now prefer it than the traditional displays. Gas mileage during the break in period has been between 30-36 mpg. And this is all highway driving. Although as you have seen above at higher than EPA speeds for determining MPG.

  • My first brand new car. - 2005 Honda Civic

So far so good. A fun to drive, sporty, sexy car. Great handling, smooth shifting, stylish machine and you cant beat the gas mileage or the preformance of the four- cylinder engine. Excelent enginering!

  • Wandas Honda Civic Hybrid Review - 2006 Honda Civic
    By -

I had been checking out the new hybrids before my previous car need to be replaced. I felt that we should make a conscious effort to conserve fuel. My husband was totally against buying one because he did not feel the bugs were worked out of them. After a test drive (at my insistance) my husband and I were sold on the hybrid. The power and gas mileage were unbelieveable. We liked the size and design. The only thing missing was a sunroof for my husband. I dont need it. We have not had any problems and since we have purchased the Honda Civic, gas prices have skyrocketed and I am not afraid to take a trip or pull up to the gas pumps.

  • Best Car Yet - 2006 Honda Civic
    By -

This is my first new Honda purchase and by far the best all around car that I have ever owned. When you combine the style, performance, economical fuel rating, reliability and low depreciation you would be hard pressed to find a better all around car out there in the compact/economy category. Hands down the best.
