Model Overview:

Since its launch in 1973, the Honda Civic has been one of the most popular compact cars sold in America. Its success can be attributed in large part to its consistently high level of quality inside and out and its long-standing reputation for reliability and low running costs. Impressive fuel economy and engaging performance have also played a role in making the Civic a top choice for many Americans.

The competition has largely caught up with Honda, though, and there are now many excellent small cars vying for your attention. Still, we continue to recommend the Civic due to its ergonomic interior layout, wide range of models and high resale value. For small-car shoppers in search of a solid used vehicle, the Honda Civic is certainly a smart choice, as its long production run and many variants make it easy to find what you want.

Overall we are extremely pleased with our new car. The performance has surpassed our expectations. You can really feel the low speed torque of the gas/electric engine combo. The aerodynamic design is very noticable in highway driving. Much quieter, and a feeling that youre slicing through the air at higher speeds. Much less buffeting when passing (or being passed by) large trucks at highway speeds. We racked up around 500 miles on our first tank of gas, which jives with our average display of 41.5 MPG. The Navi works well, and has nice features like "maximize freeways" and avoid certain roads. The sound system sounds very nice, and the mp3/wma disc capability is very cool.

I only have 300 miles on my new Civic Hybrid, and I love it. it is the most fun to drive car Ive had since my 88 280-ZX. I had it up to 85 on the freeway and it held the road like a champ. I took it up a steep mountain road and it didnt falter or slow down a bit. I havent figured out all the electronic stuff on the NAV system yet but that will surely keep me interested for awhile. My gas mileage has not been 45 but more like 35 but I guess thats due to the way I drive. I did get 50 downhill (ha ha). its too much fun driving to drive it like a granny.

Overall value for $15K. Honda image and Honda actual is not exactly the same. The trunk was poorly alligned to the frame... clearly visable. Not subtle. The driver seat wobbles and/or does not feel rock solid. Gas milage should be better. Its good. Not excellent. City/Highway avg is closer to 31 for mine. Car is solid, reliable and refined. Driven 6000 miles in 2 months and no big problems. Overall pleased.

Ive had this auto for about three months and its a great car. I set the odometer when i left the dealer and so far its showing 43.1 for all of the driving that weve done (4500.) The car rides well, has plenty of pep, and is very quiet. The only minus in this equation is road traction in snow and ice. Traction and control was scary until i bought a set of snow tires. I wasnt made aware of the need until i drove it in snow for the first time. I nearly quit driving it. Once the new tires were on it felt like it could climb a wall! No problems since.

Ive had my Civic for a week and love it as a replacement for my 2002 Civic. Changes in the six years are all good, and I love the digital dash! Seats are comfortable for 6-1 big guy. I wouldnt own another car from the "Big Three" Detroit auto makers. Door locks for passenger need to automatically unlock when handle is pulled from the inside.

This car is just plain fun! Ergonomic design is close to perfect. Handling is tight and acceleration is surprisingly good. This car was purchased for my wife, but I am considering one for myself.
