Since its launch in 1973, the Honda Civic has been one of the most popular compact cars sold in America. Its success can be attributed in large part to its consistently high level of quality inside and out and its long-standing reputation for reliability and low running costs. The competition has largely caught up with Honda, though, and there are now many excellent small cars vying for your attention. Still, we continue to recommend the Civic due to its ergonomic interior layout, wide range of models and high resale value.   Purchased on 6/30/2007. Was looking for a reliable, fuel efficient vehicle since my husband and I carpool together most days and drive about 80 miles a day. Priced all others in class, and the Civic seemed to be the best bang for the buck. We both have fun driving it, and I enjoy the body style. The back end looks similar to that of a BMW or Volvo especially in black or silver. We live in AZ, and it doesn’t seem as if the A/C blows as cold as other vehicles that we have owned (maybe it is just because it is 115 degrees!). Other than that, I think we will have fun enjoying the car for years to come.

  I decided I needed to get a car that was 100% reliable, had good gas, and affordable. I looked and compared for a LONG time. I ended up buying a 2003 Honda Civic. I am in LOVE with it. Save your time looking at other vehicles. I get great gas mileage, and everyone compliments me on how they love my car. The inside is really neat, the dashboard lights up orange and purple. I was surprised how much room there was. All of my passengers have plenty of leg room. I feel very safe driving my Honda.

  Wonderful fit & finish. Roomy interior and comfortable. Little dissapointed in the fuel economy. Could use a 6th gear. Car revs around 3500 rpms at 70 mph. I heard the automatic model revs around 2500 rpms at 70 enabling it to get almost 5 miles more distance to a gallon of fuel. Best value and resale in its class!

  Fun car to drive. Best pickup Ive had on a "normal" vehicle of any kind. GREAT on gas mileage and reliability. Only problem I have with this car is the driver seat is very uncomfortable. I am of average height and weight but the seat is terrible. Great interior design and roomy for a fairly small car. Would buy again except for the seats. If they dont improve on them, I would buy something else.

  Stand-out for Best Value - 2006 Honda Civic

  Ive had the Civic for a couple of weeks and love it. Dealer had a tough time finding a manual in Atomic Blue, so I took the automatic...great move. Compared several others and found it by far the best value for performace, styling, saftey and MPGs. Very distinctive car to drive. Everyone in awe of MPGs (especially coworkers with trucks and SUVs!) Two tier instruments fun and practical. Airbags and safety features abound.

  This is my third Honda, first Civic ( 2 Accords)- superbly designed vehicle. Runs tight and quick which leads to easy manuverability. Clear view behind and sides of vehicle.

  Great car - 2003 Honda Civic

  This is my first honda civic. Ive always wanted one and now i finally have one. Its a beautifull car inside and out. The attention to detail is very good for this class of car. the Engine is good with the available 5 speed and should be mandatory with EX model. The shifts are very smooth and crisp, one of the best 5 speeds around.

  Ive done extensive research in looking for a safe, reliable, and affordable car; and all the facts would lead me back to the Honda Civic. After owning three Civics, I thought a change would be good. But nothing could compare. We now currently have three Honda Civics; and sold our fourth. An extremely satisfied customer.

  This is a great car! It sporty but also sensible! I wanted an eclipse..but my parents disagreed because thats not a very safe car..the honda civic two-door was a great compromise! its got a great look, but still has antilock brakes and other safety features
