Overview & Reviews
Since its launch in 1973, the Honda Civic has been one of the most popular compact cars sold in America. Its success can be attributed in large part to its consistently high level of quality inside and out and its long-standing reputation for reliability and low running costs. Impressive fuel economy and engaging performance have also played a role in making the Civic a top choice for many Americans.
The competition has largely caught up with Honda, though, and there are now many excellent small cars vying for your attention. Still, we continue to recommend the Civic due to its ergonomic interior layout, wide range of models and high resale value. For small-car shoppers in search of a solid used vehicle, the Honda Civic is certainly a smart choice, as its long production run and many variants make it easy to find what you want.

WOOOAH!!! - 2006 Honda Civic
By Matt Landers - January 13 - 7:03 pmThe 2006 Honda Civic is one of a kind with all it has to offer. Ive had a lot of Civic owners stop and take a second look. Honda proves that an economy car doesnt have to look like one. With many new standard features, tight fit and trim, and comfortable dash layout I feel as though I got some good bang for all of my bucks.

One amazing car - 2006 Honda Civic
By B. Randall - January 12 - 5:46 pmThis is one impressive car to drive. You will find yourself turning the radio off just to hear the exhaust note when the VTEC is kicked in. It just makes you smile everytime. I drove it conservatively for a tank and got 34 mpg. The car is a blast to drive and super quick not to mention handling.

Tires and lugnuts - 2007 Honda Civic
By TKLK65@aol.com - January 12 - 7:23 amGreat car. 32 mpg combined, 36 mpg highway. Only problem is tires lose air pressure fast-within a week two tires below 15 psi. I have to inflate all four to 32 psi every week. Also, only 9k on car and all lug nuts are rusting and staining the aluminum rims. Will be going to dealer on tires and lug nuts when I can.

Tough Act to Beat! - 2004 Honda Civic
By cidarcca - January 11 - 2:00 amI spent several months researching all cars in this class and chose the 2004 model even though 2003s are cheaper. Its got great reliability, resale value, and exceptional build quality. Also, its got comfy seats and a real smooth engine/transmission combo. The 2004 EX model upgrades make it more distinctive (new alloys, front/rear lights & bumpers, antilock brakes, stereo & sound insullation, drivers seat adjustment, new center console) plus the new Magnesium color looks great! The power moonroof eats up a lot of headroom but Im 6-1" and can still fit but its a little snug - thank goodness the drivers seat adjusts up and down!

Si 4dr - great car - 2007 Honda Civic
By bf04 - January 10 - 9:16 pmFirst time buying Honda. I chose the Si since I wanted something of a sporty car. I really like the seats and I have never had as much fun driving a car as this one. Gas mileage is good, handling is great.

Smooth Sailing - 2001 Honda Civic
By W. Stevenson - January 10 - 10:00 amI dont know what all the bad talk is about this vehicle. We have put nearly 21000 miles on ours since July of 2001 and not had a single problem. The car is very reliable, efficient and fun to drive.

Not Pleased - 2000 Honda Civic
By av - January 10 - 10:00 amWithin 18 months of buying it, it started jerking while driving, and stalling. No one knew what was wrong with the car. Took it to the dealership about 4 times and finally filled out the lemon papers. Has anyone else had the same problem with the 2000EX?

Completely Satisfied - 2006 Honda Civic
By HappyHondaOwner - January 10 - 2:53 amI love my new civic. I get so many compliments on it and people staring while Im on the road. Most people think its the accord. I like how the dash is angled toward the driver and the dash is like no other car out there. Initially I wanted navigation but the system looked too plain for the bright new dash and stereo system. Every 1 out of 5 times the SRS light comes on and I found(owners manual) it happens when my foot hits a sensor while getting into the car.At first I had a problem with the stereo (scrambled letters numbers & wouldnt play) when I changed from MP3 CD to regular CD. I had a 98 civic EX before this one & the only problem I ever had w/ it was the window came off track.
