Since its launch in 1973, the Honda Civic has been one of the most popular compact cars sold in America.   This is my first Honda and I love it. It is so dependable. I live in upstate NY and drove home this year on Christmas Day- anyone living anywhere near this area remembers how many feet of snow we had! It is reliable, in excellent mechanical and physical condition and I would love to keep it forever!

  I love this car for its fuel economy, but my husband finds it impossible to drive as his commute car because he doesnt have enough leg room. Since he drives 45 miles each way, this is very important to him. Hes 511" and 270 lbs. Its very comfortable for me at 54" and 160 lbs. The car has 13k miles on it and we have some rattling starting in the console and theres a very annoying whining from the engine since about 8k miles.

  I bought my first Honda Civic Coupe in June 2002. I loved it so much that I went back and bought two more this summer for my kids. Its a great car!

  Great Car! - 2012 Honda Civic

  This is my second Honda Civic. The 2012 Honda Civic EX-L with Navigation System is a great car for all round car for technology buffs like me. Great gas mileage 40+ on the Highway. Good ride that handles bumps with composer. Technology like Bluetooth, XM Satellite Radio, USB connection for Music devices, CD player and a great Navigation System with FM traffic. What else can on ask for?

  Just love it, Honda worked up a real Si this time. Get in the gas and just when you think the power is dropping off the backside of the RPM curve the iVTEC opens up and the real fun begins. I sometime forget the car has a 350watt sound system because I love to hear the “little motor that could” wake up at 6grand and let you know it’s the “little motor that will”. I have had a lot of front wheel drive cars and none of them come close to what this car will do, turn the wheel tight and hit the gas NO wheel spin just some G’s and “bang” your off in a new direction. It truly is the baddest car you can get for the money. Plus it’s a Honda.

  At 115000mi this car has never had a mechanical problem. 48mpg highway, 43city. Its a little to small and high reving for extended highway driving, but as a commuter car its outstanding! Best car I have ever owned.

  My Civic has great pick up for getting on the highway. I commute to work about 26 miles a day, and my gas mileage is outstanding.

  Great Little Car - 2007 Honda Civic

  I was driving an 00 Ford Escort and when I read the "noisy ride" Consumer Reports comments, I worried about the noise level. Alas, the Civic Hybrid is comparatively silent! I am getting 50+ MPG in town (flat Florida) with AC off, 47 with AC on. On the drive home from Ohio, I got 48. The transmission is so smooth I never notice the "shift". Wife (leadfoot) loves the speedometer placed right in the line of vision with big, well lit numerals. Braking is satisfactory (Accord is better). Acceleration surprisingly adequate but if you lead foot it, you pay in the MPG dept. The seats are OK. Its really fun to see how your driving habits affect your fuel economy (MPG display).

  Best bang for your buck - 2008 Honda Civic

  It was between this car or a 4dr GTI. The ride is amazing. The handling is perfect and responsive. I was in an Altima SER, so going from 261 to 197hp Im going to have to say it is slow. It has good pick up and its hard to red-line :). The nav is worth it. Im a pilot so I have a good sense of direction... thought Id never use it. Once I played around with it for a while and studied up on it I really learned to enjoy it. The tires could be a little stickier. I do a lot of city driving and Im getting about 24mpg average and I am shifting around 4500 to 5000 rpm on average. I use the car.
