Sporty and fuel friendly - 1994 Honda Civic
By cnyej1 - September 5 - 2:00 amOk so its a 4 cylinder, yeah it has good fuel economy but most would guess it has lack luster performance. Well when equipped with a manual tranny it does just fine for a daily commuter or young persons main transportation. It keeps up with most vehicles from its era which are available with V6s. PLus its got the Honda reliability factor and great looks.

A Great Cheap Car - 1994 Honda Civic
By I own a Honda - July 13 - 2:00 amThe Civic is a great cheap car. Cheap to maintain but not cheap in quality. It will never fail you. Great for short trips/daily commute. Not great for long trips--too much road noise.

UNREAL - 1994 Honda Civic
By WhatAcar - May 18 - 2:00 amI have owned this LX sedan for 10 years now. During that time I have had the manual transmission replced (used) for about $500.00 and one fan switch and blower-$230. In ten years-those are the only repairs! This car is absolutely unbelievable & I love it-Not like I loved my German cars (really fun to drive), But because it has never let me down and drives today almost exactly the way it did the first day I purchased it. Honda makes an excellent car!

Great little car - 1994 Honda Civic
By jeffinsac - April 14 - 2:00 amGreat little car. Only one problem (clutch master cylinder) in 10 years of ownership. Very reliable. I have the antilock brake option (with 4 wheel disk) and I have yet to replace the original brakes after 107K miles. Could use better front seats and a bit more power under the hood though. Great mileage although has dropped 1-3 mpg the last year.

Worth Every Cent - 1994 Honda Civic
By JaxBorn - March 22 - 2:00 amBought my EX sedan new in April 94 and its been extremely reliable. Its inexpensive to own and fun to drive (Ive got the 5-sp manual). Ive got about 123,000 miles on it now and expect it to last at least a few more years without any problems. Its inexpensive to fix -- not that anything has gone wrong cause it hasnt. Yeah, I do the required maintenance and replaced the timing belt, water pump, etc at 90,000 miles. The VTec engine is OK, theres some power but its a small engine so dont expect much. My next car will be a Honda product.

Great Car! - 1994 Honda Civic
By pdog - March 10 - 2:00 amThis car gets the best gas mileage - still up to 40 on the freeway. Front and back seats are very comfortable (unless you are >250lbs) and people cant believe how much I can fit in the trunk. The car handles ok, not great, and has a decent ride(only 13" rims), but car is quick if you are willing to push it, since it is so light. Faster than my friends Mini.

i love my honda - 1994 Honda Civic
By mjbotti - February 11 - 2:00 amIts been the the most inexpensive, reliable, fun to drive car ive ever owned. With 130,000 miles it still runs like it just rolled off the assembly line, and as a plus, on a warm sunny day you cant help but get in ur civic roll down the windows and cruise! My next car WILL be a honda!

Fun little car - 1994 Honda Civic
By bddevries - January 14 - 2:00 amThe car handles extremely well. Not a lot of engine power, so having an manual transmission is a must for adequate performance. Very reliable.

The Seven Years Overview - 1994 Honda Civic
By Surly Luke - January 12 - 2:00 amBuild quality is better than my mothers 2003 Corolla, and the only problems ive had are some leaky gaskets and the front axles. The engine is unbreakable - im sure ive overrevved it more than a few times in its 244,000 km and it still pulls as well as it ever did if not better. Only flaw right now is that it has a bit of an erratic idle, but I think its a voltage issue. I have the DX engine (i checked the numbers on the motor - its the 102 hp variant) so it feels like a 9 sec car, and it will laughably dust V6 Camaros and mustangs.
