Since its launch in 1973, the Honda Civic has been one of the most popular compact cars sold in America. Its success can be attributed in large part to its consistently high level of quality inside and out and its long-standing reputation for reliability and low running costs. Impressive fuel economy and engaging performance have also played a role in making the Civic a top choice for many Americans.
The competition has largely caught up with Honda, though, and there are now many excellent small cars vying for your attention. Still, we continue to recommend the Civic due to its ergonomic interior layout, wide range of models and high resale value. For small-car shoppers in search of a solid used vehicle, the Honda Civic is certainly a smart choice, as its long production run and many variants make it easy to find what you want.

Were leaving for Montreal,Canada in july and Iam looking forward to long drive to and from our destination. Great job Honda!We sold our 99 ford escort in place for our Civic what a thoughtful idea my wife loves a Honda over a ford any day of the week and I do agree 100%

By silverhonda04 - July 21 - 10:00 amthis is my second honda civic,my first was `95 civic dx which was wonderful.these cars are very reliable.Glad to see american honda added more features.my `95 didn`t have a/c, radio,no luxury items at all.they are good cars,i have always liked the appearance of the honda but would have purchase another make if i could not afforded an EX model because these cars cost just as much or more than others cars that are just as good.i received a very good deal on this one.glad i did`nt have to add features this time

Everything Ive ever wanted - 2007 Honda Civic
By Krssy215 - July 19 - 8:53 amMy first car was a 1994 Civic DX, drove it for 5 years and over 150K miles until I was in an accident with it. I replaced it with a 1997 del Sol Si and have driven that 302K miles. Im sold on Honda quality! I was looking to replace my del Sol and decided on another civic, found an EX, but really wanted the leather interior of the newer EX-L and well, the Honda dealer replaced the interior for me. This is now the perfect car! Only have driven it for 3 weeks and in that time, have put on 2000 miles...and everyone of them has been a pleasure!

great car - 2008 Honda Civic
By A - July 19 - 2:11 ami just sold my honda civic and i have been looking at new cars and i cant find anything i like as much as my honda. The car worked great even after falling asleep at the wheel and driving off into a field. i owned the car for 9 years and drive almost an hour everywhere i go. this is a great car my only complaint in the air, which i never got checked out but would randomly quit working during long drives in the last year of having my car.

THORNE - July 19 - 2:00 ammy honda has had zero mechanical problems. besides replacing tires, the muffler, and the battery (just last month) this car has been a dream. living through the harsh winters of michigan (with the ever-present road salt) i expect some rust, but this car has none. this is not an exotic sports car or a luxury sedan but for a small economy car this honda cant be beat.

3rd Civic - 1st love - 2006 Honda Civic
By J - July 18 - 9:26 amRides a little more stiffly than my 1997 Civic EX 2 door. Its like driving a high performance living room couch around. Friends and family all love the extra room, and since hardly anyone else has it, it is a conversation piece. Am still getting used to it, but can tell you I love it already. The engineering and design on this new model are breathtaking.
