Since its launch in 1973, the Honda Civic has been one of the most popular compact cars sold in America. The competition has largely caught up with Honda, though, and there are now many excellent small cars vying for your attention.   I love this car. I get a huge grin on my face every time I get in. I researched for months and finally decided that this was what I wanted. I have not regretted that decision for a moment. This car is sleek, fun to drive, and much more upscale than people would imagine a Civic to be. All of my friends continue to tell me how much they like it. In this price range it is really unbeatable. The sound system is amazing. My friend has a G35 with a Bose system that cant touch mine. One of the main reasons that I decided on the Honda was reliability. Every Honda my family has ever had has been wonderful. Buy It!

  I just bought my civic. I owned a hooked up Acura Integra and I was going back and forth on the civic be/c there are so many on the road. To my suprise ... I love it! Being that its a special edition, they shouldve given it more horsepower, but you can improve that on your own. The engine is quiet, the stereo is great and the interior is nice, especially the dash. Overall, its the best value for your buck!!

  Wow, This car is amazing! The interior feels so luxury, it is fun to drive, the hp is perfect, the buttons on the steering wheel are a welcomed addition. The coupe has a roomy back seats and they fold down and the trunk is quite large. There are so many storage compartments. The digital speedometer helps keep on the speed limit too. I dont like XM radio, I am going to see if I can still get SIRIUS instead.

  There isnt much that I havent done to my civic...Ive driven cross country, drag raced, auto-xd, used and abused it and it still gets me back and forth to work with ease. I replace the motor at 175,000 miles b/c I found a great deal on a low mileage used one, but it surely could have made it another 50K miles with no problems. Only issues I have had with it are the window motors and a cracked exhaust manifold. No biggies though. If you can find one of these used with relatively low miles, get it!

  I think thats the best car for those who drives state-to-state . Great mileage. Since I have this car, I never get any troubles. You cant go wrong with Honda! I hardly see any maintance .... runs good!

  I owned a Honda Civic back in the 80s and loved it until I bought this Hybrid Honda Civic. Its fun to drive and I dont want to get out of it. Not to mention I get 38 mpg on the streets and 47-52 mpg on the highway. What a great car!!

  2008 Civic Si - 2008 Honda Civic

  I have a recently purchased Civic Si Sedan and hav a little over five hundred miles on it. Overall its a great little car thats practical. It seats my wife and I plus our two small kids well, with room to spare in tthe trunk. I handles great especially with the summer tires. My only couple of beefs with the car is the first 5 minutes of warm up, It wants to buck in first or second gears until it warms up. It just annoying, you would have thought Honda could have reprogrammed the ECM to fix this. Ive heard from other message boards this was due to something emissions rated, whatever it is very annoying. My other beef is the auto door locking function.

  5th HONDA CIVIC & NOT THE LAST - 2005 Honda Civic

  Ive owned a new Mercedes 190 Baby Benz, a Chevy Camaro & Citation, a Ford Fiesta, Pinto & Taurus, a Pontiac Fiero. Ive leased numerous vehicles including Cadillacs, Lincolns & Buicks. And as an automotive engineer Ive tested and driven dozens of vehicles including Porsches & Corvettes. Most are more expensive, more powerful and more glamorous but the Honda Civic is the vehicle I am most comfortable with having my wife and three (now) college children drive. NEVER a defect or failure, best powertrains in the automotive industry, direct handling, ergonomically right with comfortable interior space & trunk and great dealer service. Im looking forward to seeing the new model this fall.
