  • first honda ever owned - 2007 Honda Civic

This is my first time driving Honda and I am a guy who has owned Lexus, BMW and other domestic brands before. For this price, this is an excellent car in terms of handling, mpg, comfort and maintenance. I would highly recommend this car to all age groups. I drive about 200 miles per day and this is a very fun to drive car and the best choice for budget minded people.

  • A Compact With Class - 2007 Honda Civic

This ones a real gem. Plenty of options, spacious, peppy 1.8L, and frugal on gas. Average gas mileage has been 30 mpg, combination city and highway usage. Steering is tight, with good manuveurability. Excellent driver and passenger leg and headroom for a compact. The split dash is easy to read. Of course, trunk capacity is limited, but the fold down rear seat option works for two people on a road trip. Would like to have the inside climate control of my Accord EX, but what can one expect for a compact price? So far, its been a classy addition to our Honda family. I just wish my wife would let me drive it every once in awhile!

  • Not what I was hoping. - 2007 Honda Civic

Thought Id switch to an economy car - this car won based on price/gas economy alone. It hasnt been worth it - Id rather spend extra money on gas to have a car with some torque. The resale value looks great - will be moving up to something sportier in the 200+ hp/torque range. Not a bad car but it is the first/last Honda I will ever own. Realized its too vanilla for me. Didnt like seeing commuters driving them everywhere. Kind of a bummer.

  • Impulse buy but still smart! - 2007 Honda Civic

I was on my way to Costco for milk when I saw this car, test drove it, and bought it on impulse, it replaced a 2004 Scion xB. I love the ext/int styling but wish the trunk was a lil bigger for boxes. love the interior, however, beige gets dirty so easily. Great Handling, Amazing brakes, awesome stereo, love the aux input. I wish i wouldve opted for the updated pkg with nav/bluetooth/trunk opener/sun roof. One thing, I get a weird rattling from my trunk, and my front left brake had a piece melt off of it, but it was replaced/fixed instantly by Honda no questions asked. Great purchase and I cant wait for the 2010 Honda Insight Hybrid! I average about 475 Miles per tank

  • Great Redesign - Love It! - 2007 Honda Civic
    By -

Traded my 2001 Civic EX Coupe in on this car and I love it. Honda added so many great features - the 01 was a great car, but Honda has really hit the nail on the head with the 07 redesign. Everything I didnt have on my 01 and wanted I now have on my new 07, and then some - except for leather, heated seats. The 5 speed transmission and added HP were much needed. Its a great car, inside and out - my third Civic.

  • Test drove many, nothing compares to.... - 2007 Honda Civic

I have looked for a new 2007 car for over two weeks. I have test driven everything, and really wanted a sunroof and navigation on the car i chose. However my budget limited my choice. I was choosing between camry, volkswagen etc, and nothing compared seriously to the perks that the civic had and the materials of the make. I found everything but the camry to be cheaply made. But camry with navi and everything else that the civic had was way too expensive. The civic just drove better and now that I have it, its awesome.

  • Great... - 2007 Honda Civic

I was on a waiting list for this little coupe, and it finally arrived 4 months later. I am quite pleased with the handling. No other front wheel drive car, in my opinion, handles this well from the factory. Many aftermarket parts are available (as of this writing, July 07). There are a few problems I have encountered: clunking noise from pass. side strut assembly, drive-by-wire throttle issues, paint quality (POOR), intermittent wiper system sometimes doesnt work properly, interior scratches very easily. All in all, I highly recommend this car. Compared to the Cobalier this is one car you would surely love to drive, and drive all the way to its 8300 rpm redline!

  • A great deal and even better purchase - 2007 Honda Civic
    By -

We bought our 2007 Honda Civic EX Sedan to replace a 2002 Toyota Prius. Being life long Loyal Toyota drivers, it was a big change going to Honda. It is one of the best decisions we have ever made. The fuel economy is better than we expected. We average 35 mpg. And the styling is great. It is a peppy car that is fun to be in. Whether youre 20 or 50 it doesnt matter, the car fits anyone. The blue color is amazing and the extras are great. We have had no mechanical or cosmetic problems with our civic. Its easy to say that we will be repeat Honda buyers.

  • Sporty Car at an Affordable Price - 2007 Honda Civic

In its price range, the Si stands out. Stock, its on par with the GTI, Cobalt, supercharged tC, and RSX Type-S. Yet the GTI and supercharged tC are limited as tuner cars and are more expensive for the setup and dont handle as well. The Si even compensates for low toque with its high rev short throw setup. Its interiors and Hondas build quality beat out the Cobalt and RSX (how it beats the "higher class" version of the same company is a mystery to me), and the GTIs exterior is a matter of personal taste. Whether its stock or tuned, the Si packs a punch behind the wheel and outdoes its competitors. It even has bonuses like a 300w audio system, moon roof, and a sleek racy design.

  • Great Hybrid! - 2007 Honda Civic
    By -

Great hybrid! I have averaged 49.9 in the first 3200 miles. Great car! My only complaint so far is that I have been getting the IMA light, battery light, check engine light. The dealer reset everything, so well see. Otherwise, it is a great car! As long as you drive conservatively, it is not hard to get 50+ mpg. My last two tanks have been 51.5 and 53. Great car, good buy.
