In typical Honda fashion, the Civic receives a number of minor changes this year in order to keep it fresh. For the coupe and sedan, there's new exterior styling, including restyling for the front and rear bumpers, hood, headlights and grille. Inside, the audio speakers have been upgraded, extra sound deadening material has been added and floor mats are now standard in the LX and EX. The LX trim has slightly bigger wheels this year (15 inches) and standard keyless entry. A new value package contains air conditioning, a CD player and a new center console. For the Si hatchback, there are new headlight and taillight designs, larger 16-inch wheels and flashier interior trim. Like the regular sedan, the Civic Hybrid has updated styling, standard floor mats and improved speakers. It also has a new interior console with an armrest, adjustable rear headrests and a manual driver-seat height adjuster. Finally, all 2004 Honda Civic sedans and coupes have a new seatbelt reminder system.

  I just traded my 2001 Civic Lx Coupe in for a new 2004 Ex Coupe and i am just as amazed. This car is incredible! Its the beginning of the model year and i got $800 off, the gas milage is almost 40mpg (and its not a hybrid), and it looks HOT. Besides maitanence, i put $0 into my last civic over 3yrs. These are truly THE best cars out there!

  This is my second civic that I have owned and I love this car. You cant beat the reliability and gas mileage. Great first new car and dependable used car for anyone.

  2004 4dr LX Auto, Dark Blue - 2004 Honda Civic

  With the fuel prices going up and my daily ride to and from work adding up to 130 miles per day I decided it was time for a change from my 4x4 SUVs and trucks. My wife and I traded our 99 Grand Vitara in on this blue LX Sedan and although we mis the SUV this car is really great! I have driven it on a 12 hour road trip with my 2 children in the back seat and we were all very comfortable. I average 33-35 MPG with the car, but in its defense I drive PA turnpike and set the speed at 73. The interior is cleanly appointed and roomy, the trunk is wonderfull! I fit my 34" Samsonite softbag and 30" hardbag in the trunk! Exterior stlying is sporty and fun

  Love that gas mileage - 2004 Honda Civic

  I work out of my car putting about 60 miles per day all in-town driving. The 42 miles per gallon is wonderful. The car rides well, over all the Fort Worth potholes, enough power to get on the freeway when I need it, and plenty of room.
