  • Bang for the buck - 2007 Honda Civic

I went shopping for the LX or EX, but when I sampled the Si my mind was made up. Ive driven 2,000 miles in the three weeks Ive had it so far and am very impressed with the car. I was drawn to the Civic line due to the quality, reliability, and safety. I fell for the Si because it suits this accountant who has a fun side in addition to a toddler. The interior has really grown on me and I find everything very easy to use. The seats are outstanding, great for trips and sporting. Transmission is superb as is the steering communication. This engine requires a driver who pays attention though. Great overall room, functionality, and value. Beats Mazda 3, VW GTI, Cobalt SS.

Our Civic came with leather and Essenza tires and pro max rims, and it rocks. We love this sweet machine and are getting about 35 mpg on top of great looks.

I bought my 2007 Honda Civic with only 58,000 have had one problem after another, starting with drivers side sun visor coming apart,to horrible vibration because of lose engine mount, wheel barrings had to be replaced and still hear popping noise when I turn sharp left,so disappointed in this honda

  • Nice Little Car w/ Bad Tires - 2007 Honda Civic
    By -

Ive owned this car for more than a year now. I drive a lot of highway and city mix miles and this car has performed excellent in both city and highway with one exception. The factory Bridgestone tires are absolute pieces of junk and wore out at 17,000 miles. Honda seems to have realized this as the latest Civics Ive seen have Goodyear tires on them. Other than the tires, the car accelerates nicely and is fairly comfortable for two average sized people. The fuel mileage ranges in the 33-34 MPG area no matter how I drive, and I dont drive conservatively. The stereo is excellent as long as you dont want to install XM Radio. That will cost you $500 if you can find someone to do it.

  • Very Happy Honda Hybrid Owner - 2007 Honda Civic

I am so glad I bought this car. I have a one-way 53 mile commute everyday. Most of it is on the highway, and this car is doing great. I get 43-46 miles per gallon; more if I dont push it over 70. It is not the most comfortable car in the world over longer distances. Other than that, the cockpit feel is pretty cool. I love the jack to hook up my I-pod (Ive listened to a whole bunch of books on tape), and the trunk space fits my golf clubs and thats good enough for me.

I traded in my 97 V6 Accord for this car because of the body style and fuel economy. I commute about 50 miles a day in some gridlock and still get about 33 miles a tank which is about a 33% improvement over the Accord. Interior has a sharp design and the exterior paint is nice as are the 16 inch rims. The dual level display is stylish and functional.

  • im in love - 2007 Honda Civic

i just leased my honda civic, after a couple of months of searching for a car. i had a deposit on a honda fit and was waiting for it to come in, but then decided i didnt want to pay so much money for a car i would drive only on the wknds. i had heard so much about the honda performance and reliability, and i can only say "WOW". i totally love this car. it drives and handles so well, i dont even feel like im driving. ive only had it for a few days, but i am so happy with my decision. id been driving my moms ford contour and i dont think ill ever step foot in it again. the civic LX is a quiet, smooth ride that offers a lot amenities and comforts. i recommend this car to everyone.

  • Good on milage, great on the enviroment - 2007 Honda Civic

I get 41 MPG in the city very consistently. I have gotten as high as 43 MPG on the highway. I suppose you could get 50 MPG if you were going down hill all of the time and didn’t run the A/C. I live in Houston, TX, so that isn’t very practical. I’m happy with the 41 MPG. This car qualifies as an Advanced Technology Partial Zero Emissions vehicle in all 50 states. The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency gives the Civic Hybrid a greenhouse gas score of 10 (being the best). The car qualifies for a $1,350 tax credit. The Honda Civic Hybrid was declared the World Green Car for 2006 at the New York International Auto Show.

  • Disapointed with City Mileage - 2007 Honda Civic
    By -

Have only owned for 2000 miles or about 1.5 months. To date I would have to say the Civic Hybrid is great except for the lack of it obtaining its expected fuel mileage potential of 49 mpg in town. I have been averaging 28-32 MPG in town. I was told that mileage will increase after I pass 10,000 miles. I hope that to be true. Also, the braking is a little weak.

  • Great car - 2007 Honda Civic

This car has exceeded my expectations. I have a lengthy commute (100 miles a day) and needed a car with good gas mileage. Gas mileage has been holding at 48 mpg for mixture of interstate, highway and city miles. At 55 MPH on the relatively flat Florida roads I can get about 55ish MPG. The Civic Hybrid exceeded my expectations in two main areas. First, it accelerates a little better than I expected. Maybe it just feels like it to me, who knows. The next area I was impressed with still amazes me. There is an incredible amount of room in the front seat! Im 62" 230 lbs used to a full size pickup truck but this car has tons of head room, shoulder room and my seat isnt all the way back! Wow.
