Overall a fine car for city and highway driving. Its all Honda, handling and acceleration remind me of previous Hondas Ive owned. Dealer service is OK - they didnt correctly diagnose a power steering noises the first time. A week later, another service writer, and description "morning sickness" got the problem fixed. A seal wasnt correctly seated which starved the pump of power steering fluid. New pump installed, two-day stay at dealer and its running great. MPG has increased to 37 from 34 before the repairs.

I am very happy with my Si Sedan. I used to drive a 2004 MINI Cooper S and then traded that for a 2005 Accord. I loved the MINI style and performance at entry level price but did not like driving 85 miles for free scheduled service to the closest MINI dealer. I wont buy anther MINI until I can take it to the BMW dealership in town. So needless to say the 4cyl Accord I bought did not make me a happy camper behind the wheel and I began to covet the Si Sedan. The Si is plenty fast for my situation, sure it could use more torque and horsepower but $22k is a bargain. I love the quality and dependability of Honda but they need to offer more HP in the Civic to keep me in them.

I bought my Honda NEW in January 2007. Over the last several months, my car has been in the shop several times, and I have missed four days of work due to the vehicle being incapacitated by mechanical failures. The list of failed parts is long: 1. Sun Visor split apart 2. Battery #1 3. Battery #2 4. Battery #3 5. Air compressor relay 6. High road force on tires 7. Air condenser (mysterious road pebble) 8. Tensioner bolt 9. Tensioner belt 10. Water pump 11. Water pump pulley 11. Rear suspension arm 12. Air condenser (another mysterious road pebble). Thats 12 failures too many.

As a Lexus, Acura and BMW driver in the past I was concerned about the comfort and roominess this car provides. To my surprise, the car is quiet, roomy and will save me approx. $1000 on gas. The other vehicles in the past required premium. This little unit gets 35 mpg and uses regular. It has plenty of zip and is a smooth ride. I am very very happy with this car and am highly recommending it to my friends.

I just got this car less than a week ago. This car is sweet, love to rev it over 6000 rpm where the vtec kicks in. Great interior and very roomy for a car of its size. My wife really wants to learn to drive stick now that I have this. My 6 month olds car seat fits easliy in the back where as in the coupe it was a hassle.

  • Finishing break-in, but good so far - 2007 Honda Civic

I bought my new Civic Si last weekend. I got 32.5 mpg for the first half tank driving mostly highway miles to VA from NC (248.9 miles). I have to say the car is nice for the price, and loaded. The only really bad design was the hand brake location, the prem gas is also not so good. Seems to be a good little sporty car. I look forward to reporting later after break in what my avg MPG is with using the shift light, or in some hard driving. Not liking the delay in drive by wire 0.9 sec delay in rpm fall. Tire noise is not bad at all. I have Mich. tires (summer/ all season?).

  • My 1st Civic - 2007 Honda Civic

I purchased my first Civic in 2007 after a handful of people suggested to do so. Overall, I am very happy with the vehicle; I have had no performance problems. For fuel economy, I can get approx. 330 miles per tank driving both on the highway and in the city. It held up well during our horrible winter here in the Northeast; however the car can sway easily in the wind.

Love my Honda Civic EX coupe 5 speed. This is the best Civic ever built. It beats all the competition. Honda legendary reliability. Gas mileage. I have been averaging about 35 mi/gal. Awesome. Fantastic styling. Best color is black. I love everything.

Purchased car for 30,000 miles/yr. Have put 32,500 miles on car in first 12 months. Great gas mileage makes it fun to drive. Slight "re-connection" jerk when going from electric to gas motor at traffic light in Autostop mode. Two tier dashboard prevents gauges from being hidden behind steering wheel. For me, seats are not very comfortable for 3 or more continuous hours behind wheel. I purchased separate back/lumber and seat supports which helped considerably. Highly recommend set of 4 snows for winter. Gas mileage dropped from 44 to 36 during cold months in the northeast. Youll get 44 mpg at 75 mph all day long. Only problem yet was a driver window that did not close correctly.

  • Remember, its an economy car - 2007 Honda Civic

The cost of gas prompted my conversion from a 2006 GMC Yukon XL to the 2007 Honda Civic EX. I did not need a sports car. The Honda Civic, with its economical engine, reputation for durability and longevity as well as low price prompted my purchase. For several thousands of dollars more I could have chosen a car with better suspension, ride comfort and sound. But I get terrific gas mileage, a sporty ride (i.e. I feel the bumps on the road) and a sound system that plays the music I want. Id probably be more attractive to women with a small BMW, but my daughters think the car is great so I suspect Im as attractive to women as Ill ever be. My wife likes the size of the car, too.
