05 Civic Value Pkg (Black ) - 2005 Honda Civic
By Steve - June 29 - 8:23 pmThe fit and finish on this car is incredible for an economy-type vehicle. The seats conform to the body extremely well; the car handles turns and curves like it is on rails. Value Package boasts a nice a/c, dual vanity visor mirrors and cd player. The maintenance schedule is remarkable: 10k miles between oil changes under normal driving conditions? WOW! 110k before scheduled tune up? Now thats what Im talking about. 29/38 MPG? I have only had the car for four days, but I am excited to see how much $$ I will be potentially saving by not having to visit the pump as often.

SUV owner converted - 2005 Honda Civic
By chillinnsatx - May 16 - 8:53 amIve always driven large trucks and SUVs, but recent gas prices got me to reconsider a more efficient car. The Honda Civic has great crash test ratings, great resale values, great "low true cost of ownership", great gas mileage, a huge trunk, comfortable ride. For a 4 cylinder compact, it gets me up & going on the freeway just fine, and friends fit great in the back seat. Its not going to pull a boat or anything, but I think its a vehicle Im going to have for a long time. I really cant see the logic of spending more on a car unless youre just really trying to impress the neighbors with an emblem, b/c this is an awesome car for the price.

The best - 2005 Honda Civic
By r. Tracy - April 29 - 4:26 amThis car is the most fun to drive! Handles excellent, stops on a dime! Gets out of the gate first even next to an expensive sports car. Love it.

Honda Civics keep on going and going - 2005 Honda Civic
By Bill Favors - April 26 - 4:13 pmWe had a !985 Honda Civic Wagon that once we took it off the dealership lot it never had to go back it was so dependable. No recalls or warranty issues to deal with. I cant say that about Ford or GM prodicuts unfortunately

2005 civic si review - 2005 Honda Civic
By andrew b, - April 15 - 10:00 amI purchased a the si on 9/27/04 it was a beautiful vivid blue pearl color with swade leather interior. It is hard to find a dealer with one in stock . I liked the handling, performance of the car. It does great on wet rainy days, had good pickup when passing cars and very smooth when shifting gears. I love the car and it handles great on curvy roads. It is allot of fun to drive and gets good gas milage. when i bought the car it had 27 miles on it now it has almost 1300 miles and i have averaged 30mpg with mostly city driving.Being 6ft1 i was surprised at how much room was in the car with plenty of head and leg room. The moonroof was nice being motorized with a tilt function. its a good car

Cheaper gas - 2005 Honda Civic
By Tom - April 12 - 4:00 amIt is a great car but so far the MPG hasnt been quite as good as the said it would be but way better than anything else on the market and at $3 a gallon gas, that goes a long way. Hard to get used to the fact it is so quiet, feels like it dies all the time, rather neat

Love it!! - 2005 Honda Civic
By Sportsgal - March 15 - 9:36 amBought this car because I wanted something sporty but with a useable hatchback/cargo area. Gotta tell you for a small car, the cargo area is surprisingly large. Love the midrange acceleration and the way the car hugs the curves. Friends are impressed with the sporty appearance--havent gotten one comment about the mini minivan look. Would buy this car again in a heart beat!!

The best car Ive owned. - 2005 Honda Civic
By KarlC - March 6 - 11:43 amThis car has plenty of power and gets awesome mileage. I drive on the freeway a lot and this car easily cruises at 80mph if needed, no problem. You cannot tell when it is running on gas or electricity and it is quick off the mark at traffic lights, even though the engine turns off when you come to a full stop. It has amazing headroom, my 64" buddy can sit in it no problem. The only comment is that the 12V power outlet could be positioned somewhere else as it prevents the 2nd cup holder from being used when you have something plugged in. PLUS I get a $2000 tax break on next years taxes!
