  • 45+ MPG HWY - 2007 Honda Civic

This is a great little car, and when traveling across the state of Florida, I always get at least 45 MPG, sometimes even slightly better than that. Its also sharp-looking for a Civic. Im happy with my purchase.

  • Clear Coat Peeling All Over Car, Cheap Interior - 2007 Honda Civic

I bought my Si new in Figi Blue, and about 1 year ago the clear coat began peeling in sheets. Honda will only pay 25% of an estimated $6K paint job to make this situation right. The car only has 55K miles on it, and I always took very good care of it. This is unacceptable that a car known for its longevity looks like a clunker at just over 9 years old. Honda knew there was a paint defect as they extended the paint warranty, but because I contacted them outside of this window they will do nothing to fix it. Also, the visors have both cracked, the luggage hooks are broken, and the seals are starting to peel up. I will never buy another Honda again, and I will certainly tell anyone I talk to that they shouldnt either.

  • Very nice Si! - 2007 Honda Civic

In 20,000 miles I havent had any problems save for third gear being notchy. Will let dealer see before warranty expires. Small gas tank only allows about 320 miles to the gallon on premium fuel only. Si also requires synthetic oil. I wish the windshield wasnt so huge because the sun glare is bad. Overall, if gas wasnt so high I would buy again. I think I will trade down to a regular civic for better fuel economy. Cant complain about the reliability though, its been awesome. Dont spend for the factory navi as Garmin makes better units for WAY less money.

  • 2007 Hybrid - 2007 Honda Civic

I wanted a Hybrid so I could receive the CA Carpool sticker. The Toyota seemed like a slightly updated Tercel. Cheap feel, though lots of gadgets. I would not have bought a Hybrid if the Toyota Prius was my only option. The Honda Hybrid actually felt like a "real" car.

  • I Love This Car! - 2007 Honda Civic
    By -

I love this little car. It is super easy to maneuver and so fun to drive. My only complaint is that it is a little underpowered for highway driving. There is plenty of power for city driving however. But that is the sacrifice you make when you buy the hybrid. But I do get 52mpg on the highway! City driving is more around 40 to 41mpg. Arlington in quite the hilly county so I am not surprised the actual mileage in city is not higher. I also love this car because at 63 the car is quite accomodating but I do have to have my seat all the way back. That means that the people sitting behind me are more than a tad cramped. Ergonomics are great and everything is within reach.

  • Finally flare with 4 doors! - 2007 Honda Civic

What a fantastic car! Other cars I was considering were the, SI coupe, Eclipse, GTI, and Cobalt SS. Dollar for dollar nothing else in the market offers the same good looks, features and performance as this car. I drove all of them and came back to this one. Personally I think the sedan looks even better than the SI coupe. I have a 7 month old daughter and have car seats in my future for the next 8 years so that made the choice even easier. Simply one of the best values that can be had for around $21K. Owned the car for only two days so long term I cannot comment, but so far, its been great!

  • If you are taller than 511" dont buy - 2007 Honda Civic
    By -

Ive put about 2000 miles on my 2007 EX Civic Coupe. Averaging 28 mpg city and 35 mpg highway. I like the car for city driving, but it has annoyances that may force me to sell it in the long run. On long trips its bouncy suspension makes me car sick and the twitchy steering forces you to stay alert. Head clearance is a MAJOR problem for those taller than 511". Im 511.5" and my head is 1/2 an inch from the roof. Its very irritating when my hair brushes the roof. Its driving me crazy. Should have gotten the DX with 1.5 inches extra clearance due to no moon roof.

  • This is a GREAT car. - 2007 Honda Civic

This is my first Honda. Purchased the 07 Civic EX w/ Navi about 2 weeks ago. Have loved every second I spend behind the wheel. Just took the little 4 cyl into the Blue Ridge mountains, and it performed admirably. The redesign Honda has done on the Civics is beautiful. Plenty of room in the front seats for adults, back seat is fine for kids. The NAVI system is AWESOME! It has already paid for itself! XM sounds great, moon roof works smooth. Steering is precise, braking is tight. Acceleration leaves a bit to be desired, but is compensated for by gas mileage. Golf clubs fit easily in the trunk. I really, really love this car. Its size is perfect and its fun and easy to drive.

  • My First Honda - 2007 Honda Civic

This car is worth every penny. Ive been driving BMWs for 21 years and love them but I needed a commuter car for work and shopping so I chose the new 07 Civic EX Sedan. It had most of the options I wanted for sub $20k. despite its soft built quality in comparison to the Solid BMWs, I still think that this car deserves mostly 10s. Again, its the perfect third car for chores and day to day driving.

  • great car - 2007 Honda Civic

This is an excellent car. No doubt about it, Honda knows what theyre doing with this car, well thought out and put together well. Very comfortable car to drive, easy handling, and supportive seats. A little road noise, but for a small car it is refined in so many other ways, who cares. Open the sunroof, and turn on the tunes. Also, the back seat is tight getting in and out of this coupe, but hey Im driving so to bad for those back seat drivers. Economical on gas, and oil changes every 3000 miles, never a problem with this car. Owned almost a year now. Its a cool car, no regrets here.
