Getting great mileage out of my Hybrid - 2005 Honda Civic
By Love my Hybrid - September 17 - 12:13 pmThere are already a lot of reviews, which I read before I bought this car. Im getting just over 40 mpg. This is less than the posted city/hwy, but I knew it would be going in. If you read more about the car, and hybrid technology, youll find that as far as the environments concerned, you are getting 46-51 mpg, with lower emissions. The car handles great, and I expect it will just about last forever (as most Hondas do).

Great Little Car - 2005 Honda Civic
By Carl - September 9 - 11:00 amBought an 05 SE LX with 5spd. Got 40 mpg on trip from VA to NJ with air on, and pushing each gear out of each tollbooth. Looking at 41-42 after car is broken in. Now have 500 miles on it. Handles great local and on highway. Has some wind noise at highway speeds and road noise on grooved road. And I fit well for a 62", 235lber.

my first "foreign" car - 2005 Honda Civic
By DX - August 21 - 12:13 pmI love my Civic! The car has superior handling andI have the least expensive model they make with manual windows, 5 spd transmission. You dont have to buy the top of the line to get that great Honda engineering. I expect to have this car for 300K+ miles.

Great car and fun to drive - 2005 Honda Civic
By Gary F. - August 4 - 2:46 pmI have not owned a car in about 15 years. My truck is a gas guzzler so I bought a civic. It gets great gas mileage and is fun to drive. Drove home in a rain/ice/snow storm recently and the car handled the icy road very well.

I Love It !! - 2005 Honda Civic
By LB - July 29 - 1:06 pmI just bought my civic. I owned a hooked up Acura Integra and I was going back and forth on the civic be/c there are so many on the road. To my suprise ... I love it! Being that its a special edition, they shouldve given it more horsepower, but you can improve that on your own. The engine is quiet, the stereo is great and the interior is nice, especially the dash. Overall, its the best value for your buck!!

5th HONDA CIVIC & NOT THE LAST - 2005 Honda Civic
By LEC - July 26 - 2:06 pmIve owned a new Mercedes 190 Baby Benz, a Chevy Camaro & Citation, a Ford Fiesta, Pinto & Taurus, a Pontiac Fiero. Ive leased numerous vehicles including Cadillacs, Lincolns & Buicks. And as an automotive engineer Ive tested and driven dozens of vehicles including Porsches & Corvettes. Most are more expensive, more powerful and more glamorous but the Honda Civic is the vehicle I am most comfortable with having my wife and three (now) college children drive. NEVER a defect or failure, best powertrains in the automotive industry, direct handling, ergonomically right with comfortable interior space & trunk and great dealer service. Im looking forward to seeing the new model this fall.

I love civics! - 2005 Honda Civic
By John McKelvey - July 16 - 12:36 amThis car is great! They get great performance out of 115 horses. Gas mileage is great. Lots of legroom even with a car seat in the back. Ill drive this car until it dies. The only thing it needs is power windows and locks with keyless entry.
