A host of minor changes bring the Civic into 2003. On the inside, all models gain improved seat fabrics, rear adjustable outboard headrests and new four-spoke steering wheels. On HX, LX and EX Civics, you'll find improved gauge illumination. There's a new center console for LX and EX, and a CD player is standard for HX and LX. On the outside, the 2003 Honda Civic has freshened taillamps and new wheel designs. Also, there is a Hybrid Civic available for the 2003 model year.

- Antilock brakes not available on DX or LX.

By eyss - May 13 - 10:00 amcar is NICE, very fast, very silent, fun to drive. although is very well built, some of the interior moldings and panels come loos or dont fit perfectly. i am not sure if it is only my car, or an engineering flaw. otherwise, i have no complaints on this car.

By hybridlover - April 15 - 10:00 amThe Honda Civic Hybrid is great. The gasmilage is woderful and Im glad honda made a nicer looking hybrid car. The Insight, I heard was great, but it is ugly. This car is not the most powerful but gas milage makes up for it. My local dealership has great service and I hope to buy an Accord hybird in 2005. I dont understand about the complaints about the 10k mile check ups. The check-ups are routine on ALL Hondas. Even my 2000 Accord LX.

By arijfroo - April 12 - 2:00 amWe recently bought this car (actually an 02, but it is virtually identicle), it is an excellent transport. Compared to our 99 saturn sl, this car is quieter, roomier and much faster. The shifter and clutch are amazing, and the car handles well. I have two complaints. For a 64" driver, there is not enough headroom (I have a moon roof). Also, there is a little too much assist with the power steering.

By JoshAZ - April 6 - 10:00 amI just purchased my 2003 Civic, and I couldnt be happier. I traded in a 2002 Accord Coupe LX V6, and I must say, the interior quality, and design, is better on my Civic than the Accord was. I had a 2001 Civic, bought when the 7th gen design just came out, and this 2003 has so many improvements over the 2001, it almost feels like a different car. The handling, ride, and steering are light years ahead of my 2001, and better than my 2002 Accord was, as well. The only thing Ill miss from my Accord was the 200hp V6, but I think the Civic will make up for that in the handling and gas mileage department.

By honda boy - April 6 - 10:00 amExcellent car. I wish I could say the same for the dealership, Brad Barker in Bloomington, Il. My experience is they are very dishonest and the used car sales manager has a temper like I have never seen from a professional.
