  • Hondas are not all theyre cracked up to - 2005 Honda Civic

I bought my 2005 civic ex coupe because I needed something that was fuel efficient which this one was not. From the time that I bought it I only managed to get 23 miles to the gallon in town, and on cold days it had trouble starting. The interior build quality was junk - push any where on the dash and the whole thing flexes, took to the dealer they could not explain the poor fuel economy or cold start issue, and by the way i only ran chevron premium in it. In the end i traded it in. I definitely do not recommend honda to anybody!!!

  • HIGH MPG+SPORTS CAR FEEL - 2005 Honda Civic

I wanted a good quality car that got high mpg and a really nice interior. Well the Civic fit my needs & the EX has all the options youll want. I’m still breaking it in so this review is limited but from what I’m experiencing driving this car, it’s fun to drive plus you get great gas mileage. Only thing is you cannot be over 6 feet tall, if you are, you need to look at different Honda models. A nice feature is the backlit instrument panel. The black interior is the best, I got Rallye Red with black interior. The EX has body color dual power mirrors (looks sharp) no matter what trim level you get youll be satisfied with the Civic.

  • Best investment ever! - 2005 Honda Civic

with gas prices going out of control the best investment I made was purchasing a hybrid. Normally I would got to the gastation once a week to fill up the gas tank, now I go to the gas station every 2 weeks to fill my tank. Oil changes were every 3 months are now every 6 months. You cant beat that!

  • Fun to Drive! - 2005 Honda Civic

The buying experience was a pleasure. Everyone was very friendly and helpful, no pressure. The gas mileage of 35mpg is a relief for someone who travels a lot every day. Interior and exterior design is very nice, and overall feels and looks much more expensive than it is. My only complaint is the a/c, which is not very cool on a sunny day.

  • Not So Great - 2005 Honda Civic

The Honda Civic has great gas mileage however it shifts exceptionally hard...almost worse than a Dodge Neon. The body is cheap plastic...totally crumples in fender benders.

  • So far so good... - 2005 Honda Civic
    By -

I did my homework before buying this car and have to admit that Im quite pleased. The car "feels" good while driving it and is more sporty than Ive expected. The ride is a lot more quiet than comparable cars (i.e. Toyota Corolla and Pontiac Sunfire) The instruments are ergonomically positioned and easy to reach. The interior is visually pleasing. The trunk is more spacious than expected. Its the first time Ive ever felt that I got my moneys worth from a car purchase.

  • Nice car for budget concerning people - 2005 Honda Civic

The most impression to me is the gas milage which runs average around 38.Before i decided to buy this car,my wife and I did some research about civic and corolla.By comparing corner to corner I chose the civic. Its more style and fun to drive. Not like corolla,i never felt bumpy.

  • 120 mile a day commute - 2005 Honda Civic
    By -

I drive about 120 miles a day for my commute and love every minute of getting 50+ mpg. I replaced the standard stereo with one that has a XM Radio receiver and that makes the drive bearable. Road noise is the pretty high unless I drive outside the ruts made by those who insist on having studded tires on their cars.

  • What Took Me So Long To Buy a Honda??? - 2005 Honda Civic
    By -

Had a Cavalier because I wanted to support one of Americas Big Three automakers. Turned out to be a major disappointment. Never again! Just purchased a new Honda Civic, a car Ive long admired. I cant believe the difference...its like night & day. It runs great, is a hoot to drive and I feel like a million bucks each time in hop in. Fit & finish are excellent; my old Chevy couldnt hold a candle to this cream puff. Gas mileage is a big plus, and the car overall just feels much more expensive than it actually is. Considered the Corolla but found the exterior to be bland. Honestly, you cant go wrong with the Civic. Im just sorry it took me SO LONG to realize it! Sorry, Chevy.

  • Its fun to drive again! - 2005 Honda Civic

I had a 2004 Accord and it was a really nice, plush ride, but the Civic Si has made driving a whole new experience. From the shifter on the dash to the look, inside and out....I get compliments everywhere I go.
