Since its launch in 1973, the Honda Civic has been one of the most popular compact cars sold in America. The competition has largely caught up with Honda, though, and there are now many excellent small cars vying for your attention. Still, we continue to recommend the Civic due to its ergonomic interior layout, wide range of models and high resale value. For small-car shoppers in search of a solid used vehicle, the Honda Civic is certainly a smart choice, as its long production run and many variants make it easy to find what you want.

  Great Car if you dont turn on the Stereo - 2016 Honda Civic

  If you are going to buy this car and plan on listening to music look somewhere else. Honda plays stupid and says there is not any problem and the dealerships are just guessing on what it takes to fix the problem. The subwoofer rattles and it is horrible even which the bass turned all the way down. I read in several forums including consumer reports that Honda will say they have never heard of this issue and when I called that is exactly what happened. Since then they have said they are working on the problem but they do not know when it will be fixed. The rest of the car well I love it and once they fix the stereo it will be a great car. The lane assist is a little weird and is nothing like what Tesla has but the over all fit and finish is first class. I hope helps someone

  the spaceship is an awesome experience. from time you turn the key this car does nothing but respond to your every whim. whether it is accelerating, passing, shifting, manuvering, or handling you feel in total control of your every move. kudos to honda & its formula one racing team. your engineers can take a graceful bow...awesome.

  This has been a fantastic car. I brag about the fuel economy, reliability, and low maintenance cost to anyone who will listen. Its now sixteen years old, still looks and runs great, and I cant bear to sell it even though we now have two newer Civics!

  I have recently purchased my Civic not too long ago, and so far it has been great, but it can be better. It looks great inside and out. Though it would be better inside if they used better quality plastics and made it more solid. Performance-wise, it delivers! Very zippy around urban streets and easy to maneuver in parking lots. The Vtec engine provides ample power smoothly. However, I am not getting good mileage in a car that is rated to do a around the mid 30 mpg range. In normal driving (with little heater/AC, non aggressive driving) I am getting a little less than 20 mpg. No repairs was done or needed, and the only real gripe is a bunch of rattling noises coming from the interior. Great car!

  This is the best civic ever. I think its even better than the Accord. It handles amazing and accelerates very smoothly. The interior is nicer than my Benz. Absolutely love this car.

  Awesome Sports Car! - 2009 Honda Civic

  For just under 22K in 2008 when they first came out (its a 2009 remember), this car has been great! Its a sedan; so a family car that I have gotten up to 32mpg in! Five people can be worked out and 4 can be comfortable in the race-inspired seats. The seats go with the sweet interior, great sound system, almost heads up display, and all the buttons on the steering wheel. But its also a race car! Stiffened suspension on the 17s and a 200hp engine work well to make a very fun practical car thats great for everyday!

  An acceptable car but lower quality than I expected from a Honda. For example: * Lots of wind/road noise * Poor exterior and interior design quality * Lousy turning radius * Poor climate control

  Best car driven to date - 2008 Honda Civic

  Bought this car for my wife and havent stopped driving it. It is definitely a step up from the Ex model civic with lots of extra power. The seats hug your back with comfort while it handles with ease. Feels faster than the Mazda 3 and accelerates harder also. For the price you cant beat it. This car seats my family of 4 comfortably and is excellent on gas. One day Ill let my wife drive it.
