Its all up to you - 2007 Honda Civic
By kflannery1 - November 3 - 10:50 pmDont believe the epa ratings on the car. According to the epa mileage is 41/45 according to consumer reports mileage is 37 combined. After 6500 miles I am averaging 51 miles and as the weather has warmed my last two tank fulls were 57 and currently 62!! You will only receive these numbers if you learn to drive very conservatively but the good news is the instant mpg feedback indicator make this easy to do. This car rides as smooth and quiet and handles just as well as my 31,000 dollar Nissan Maxima. Interior room is adequate, I have 3 teenage boys and they never complain about the backseat.Finally if you dont mind a blue haired elderly lady passing you uphill as you try to save mileage GREAT

City MPG is AWFUL!! - 2007 Honda Civic
By Rich-LasVegas - November 2 - 11:56 amThe fuel mileage stinks! Just drove 257 miles in 3 weeks, all on city streets, mpg was 21.59! With the A/C in the summer Ill be lucky to get 20 mpg!! Keep in mind that my 00 Maxima would get 17.5 in the same situation! Thats 257/11.9=21.59 for the Civic! Highway mileage does better. To San Diego was 34.9 mpg, returning was 31.0 mpg. When gassing up be sure and top- off. The tank will take another 2 gallons after the automatic shut-off! Another problem is AM radio reception. With my other cars I was able to pick- up stations in downtown L.A. beginning in Victorville, Ca., not possible with the Civic. Honda Civic, 30 mpg in the city, what a joke! I would be happy with an honest 25 mpg city.

Lots of bang for the buck - 2007 Honda Civic
By ALB SNWBRDR - October 23 - 7:33 amThe Civic SI has grown up, and so have I (....sort of). I recently purchased (3/08) a 2007 left over Civic SI sedan . I sold my 2005 Civic SI Hatchback. It was a great car. the 2007 has improved all of the features that I didnt like in the 2005 such as: less aggressive racing seats, adding a 6th gear, larger rims, and an armrest (front & rear). The 2007 is fast & can still can zig-zag through corners like a cars twice its price. The exhaust has a nice throaty sound.

Great little car! - 2007 Honda Civic
By Janet - October 18 - 3:06 pmI just bought my first Civic and love it! It fits me better than any car I have ever driven and is so fun to drive. Honda has done a great job with lumbar supports in the seat, the interior design with smooth metallic buttons instead of cheap plastic dials, and cruise controls in the steering wheel. The engine is very quiet and peppy. The split display with blue lighting is easy on the eyes and the more I drive it, the more I like having the spedometer at eye level. I drive about 3000 miles a month and am getting 38 miles a gallon this first month. I like the wide view from the windshield and how it comfortably fit four adults. I highly reccommend this car!

My Honda meets my expectations - 2007 Honda Civic

I purchased this vehicle because of the fuel economy and reliability of a Honda. I am completely satisfied with my choice at this time. I have about 1000 miles on the car and my fuel economy is 34 mpg which more than doubles my SUV. I have only driven the car to and from work and have not yet been on a highway. I havent found anything wrong with the vehicle to this point. I am very pleased and a little surprised with the pep this car has. I would highly recommend this car for someone looking for an excellent commuter vehicle

Very unsatisfied - 2007 Honda Civic
By Highly Unsatisfied - September 30 - 10:40 pmI have been disappointed with this car since I bought it. The interior is poor quality and has a low comfort level. The inside door panels scratch easily. The seats and headrests are very uncomfortable. The a/c vents are too close to the steering wheel and my hands freeze. The road noise is awful. It sounds like the windows are down or there is a gap somewhere. However, there are a few things I do like about the car and they are listed in the "favorites" box.

Learn how to shift through the smooth but precise 6 gates and this car rewards you with fun no other 21K car offers. And the exhaust is just right..Intrusive sometimes but pump up the volume on the stereo.. Not recommended for families expecting kids or with babies. Suspension is bit too tight and jarring most of the time unless roads are silky smooth.Rewards the driver but passengers with weak stomachs might have issues. Cross-shopped with the GTI. GTI is a better car if you want a well-rounded family car. This one is strictly for drivers and maybe occasional passengers. Lack of torque shows with a full load of passengers & ac.

Almost - 2007 Honda Civic
By cz75 - September 16 - 3:40 pmProbably the nicest Honda product Ive owned, but you can feel that there was more cost-cutting here than in the past, as while there are more features, the car doesnt seem as sturdy as previous models. Also, there are some glitches like a notchy, recalcitrant third gear and the strange surge from drive-by-wire when cold and the car isnt as smooth to shift as past Hondas Ive owned.

Bad Civic 2007 - 2007 Honda Civic
By badcivic2007 - August 20 - 2:16 pmI have a 07 Honda Civ & I have had several problems.I had to have my front brake pads/rotors replaced after just over a & 10Kmi. I received a recall for the steering column & ABS Wheel Sensor. My calipers stick & Honda told me that it was not under warranty. This is a major car part that PREMATURELY wears down the brake pads. My VERY trusted mechanic informed me that he noticed a lot of problems with Hondas braking system. I will NEVER buy another one. I got all of the factory scheduled maintenance including regular oils changes. I only drive this car to school & work,9K mi/yr, & in CA so the weather has never been a factor. My car may be 1 of a few lemons, but it is DEFIANTLY a LEMON!!!!

Very Fun & Great Looking - 2007 Honda Civic
By Jeff D - August 20 - 8:50 amI bought a black Civic Si sedan. Its very fun to drive and is pretty quick if you rev it to 8000. I wanted white but all they had was a black one with 4 miles, right off the truck. Its great looking but black is a lot of work.
