In typical Honda fashion, the Civic receives a number of minor changes this year in order to keep it fresh. For the coupe and sedan, there's new exterior styling, including restyling for the front and rear bumpers, hood, headlights and grille. Inside, the audio speakers have been upgraded, extra sound deadening material has been added and floor mats are now standard in the LX and EX. The LX trim has slightly bigger wheels this year (15 inches) and standard keyless entry. A new value package contains air conditioning, a CD player and a new center console. For the Si hatchback, there are new headlight and taillight designs, larger 16-inch wheels and flashier interior trim. Like the regular sedan, the Civic Hybrid has updated styling, standard floor mats and improved speakers. It also has a new interior console with an armrest, adjustable rear headrests and a manual driver-seat height adjuster. Finally, all 2004 Honda Civic sedans and coupes have a new seatbelt reminder system.

Solid Economy Car - 2004 Honda Civic
By Wxwzrd1 - December 8 - 11:44 pmDecided to try a Honda sedan after racking up over 235,000 miles on my 1993 Toyota pickup. Based on past performance and reliability, this looked like the perfect runner. I was not disappointed as the 1.7 is peppy when combined with the 5-speed--and gets about 30 mpg around town. All controls are easy to reach. Dash lights are great since you can adjust independently with and without the headlights on. Stereo is of excellent quality. Fold down seats are a bonus when extra room is needed for cargo. Suspension is solid and surprising-- doesnt feel like a typical subcompact. Front seats are slightly cramped but not uncomfortable. Seats have good support for long drives.

The air condition and music controls and easy to use, so they can be easily manipulated without looking while driving. Its surprisingly spacious for such a small car, so its very comfortable.

First ever Brand New car - 2004 Honda Civic
By rachael_ann1 - December 3 - 10:00 amI did a LOT of research before deciding to buy this car. Its reputation, style and price tag won me over. I bought a VERY basic civic and have been very happy. The gas mileage is a given, its great. The sound system is really good. Trunk space is way more than youd imagine. I get compliments on the color all the time (I bought the Fiji Blue). Its speedy when it needs to be, fun to drive and handles very well. Very smooth. Turning radius is excellent! Seats are comfortable (and Im a big girl).

I bought the car at Honda of Hollywood, where the staff were friendly and helpful -- the bargaining was hard but fair, and I came away with a great deal. The Civic is one of the great cars of our time!

By nwman003 - October 27 - 10:00 amThis car is Great, It fits anyones needs and is a true turn key car! Great on gas with lots of room Im 6 tall and a big guy I fit in the car very nice and still have lots more room. Oh one other thing it has lots of get up and go power for a small car.

Great new car for new driver! - 2004 Honda Civic
By dholdenrn - September 26 - 10:00 amI bought this car for my daughter who is about to turn 15. She loved it! I took it on a long road trip last weekend and was very comfortable in it. It is very easy and fun to drive. My grandmother and aunt were very comfortable in the roomy back seat. It gets a lot of looks on the street and is a favorite among all the teenagers!
