  • Great little car - 2007 Honda Civic

I owed this car for 10 years. It was purchased new and primarily driven by my mother and brother. The dealer honored issues that were well out of warranty like: re-painting the car twice and replacing the sun visors. It has been a great car. Weve driven it 86K miles

  • Economical commute csr - 2007 Honda Civic

This year and model Honda has a small economical engine. Makes the commute from Costa Mesa to Corona and back reliable and cost effective. Its a no frills vehicle, and does everthing I need it to do. Low cost of ownership (gas, maintenance, insurance, DMV fees, etc.)

Poor rear window visibility, picks up a lot of road noise, Auto transmission lugs in regular drive mode at 10-20 mph, unless you stomp on it.

  • Quality not what I expected from a Honda - 2007 Honda Civic

I sold my 1997 Civic LX 4-d to get this car, and its worlds better. The only problem is that this car has a lot of noise. Road noise is common in small cars, but there are so many shakes and rattles, that Im gonna have to get them fixed by the dealer when I take it in to get its first oil change. The sub rattles the back parcel shelf, the pass. seat frame rattles, there is a whistling noise coming through the windshield, and the handles on the roof rattle. Other than that, only small complaints, like how the rear end collects a lot of dust, and how I have to adjust my seat all the way down so that my head doesnt brush the roof (Im 5.10).

I have about 5k on my new civic and now have had a little time to get to know the car. It drives great, but lacks just a little bit of power to say it performs great. Fuel mileage is terrific. I drive 120 miles roundtrip to work each day; all freeway driving. The car is averaging about 34-36 mpg using the cruise and staying around the 70 posted limit. NAVI system is great and voice command is fun to play with. Tight build, absolutely no rattles or squeaks. Engine noise during accleration is louder than I expected. My 2003 Accord LX I-4 Automatic was much smoother and quiet.

The most important part of the vehicle if the mileage. The 38 mph for highway is important. Sedan, air conditioning, all extras. I would want a vehicle with a color which resists dirt and grime.

  • Best In Its Class! - 2007 Honda Civic

I was looking for a new car under 30k. Mazdaspeed3,08 Lancer and Nissan Sentra were also considered but Hondas resale value, reliability and superb handling made it my favorite. Theres really no better car out there for this price. This car is so great on the road. The 6 spd gearbox is buttery- smooth. I havent experienced any problems with 3rd gear as many have. The revhang issue is easy to get used to. It doesnt affect my drive. Low end torque is there but once you hit 2nd and get to the magical 6k rpms where vtec takes over, itll put a smile on your face. I dont get tired of it. Exhaust note is a charm. You have to get it with the Navi. Avg.gas mileage is 27mpg. Best 31.5mpg Worst 18mpg

I have been nothing but pleased with my Civic. No major problems, and when traveling on the highway I generally get around 40 mpg, which is incredible. I have had no work done on it in the last two years other than the usual oil change. I would recommend this car to anyone.

  • Ideal Commuters Car Thats Also Stylish - 2007 Honda Civic

I was looking for a compact car with great mpg, enough room for 4 other passengers, lots of features, reliability, low-maintenance, and good resale value. Civic was the perfect fit. Just bought it a month ago. Many people complimented on nice atomic blue color. Im somewhat disappointed by the mpg. I realized that the advertised 30/40 mpg is unrealistic, but I still expected it to be better than what Im getting. I got only 21 mpg on the first tank, then average 28 mpg after that (combined city/highway). It doesnt seem to get any better, but Ill see. MP3/WMA player is nice. Audio control on the steering wheel is great. Must get used to not being able to see the front of the car.

  • Practically Perfect in Every Way - 2007 Honda Civic

The car is magnificent. Ive averaged 37 mpg over the first 5000 miles of mixed city/highway driving. Very quick and efficient for a 4 cylinder with this much comfort and room. I love the ULEV2 rating too. I get constant compliments on the style. I only wish the tail of the sedan looked like the coupe.
