Disappointed, - 2012 Honda Civic
By matt144 - October 9 - 1:58 pmI purchased Civic LX (1.8L 4-cyl Automatic) in August 2011.The first impression was the car looked sharp and the price was reasonable. However, after driving it for about 2,500 miles, the biggest problem is excessive road noise. I drove Toyota, Ford and Nissan before but I never had such a noisy car. The mpg is 35 to 38 which I expected but I didnt expected such a excessive road noise.

Not - 2012 Honda Civic
By Travis - May 8 - 11:43 amThis car kills batteries like crazy & the dealership cant figure out what the problem is. They will just keep replacing the battery until the 3yr warranty is over & then its on you. Make sure to have a jump box charged & ready with you to start this car monthly. If you let it sit more that 2-3 days the battery wont start it. The clutch makes a howling or grinding noise when accelerating from a stop in 1st gear. (started at about 20,000k mi) We were able to make this sound happen with a Honda Tech in the vehicle & they still are unwilling to fix the issue without saying well have to pay the tab. The rubber rotted out around the windows in 2 years & we had to fight with them to get it replaced. They said it was from being out in the sun too much in Arizona! In two years please! Then dont sell your crap cars in AZ. We bought this car brand new from Honda 4 years ago it has 40k on it now. Never buying Honda again its our first & last.

The Snooze Cruise - 2012 Honda Civic
By newcivic2012 - September 4 - 2:36 pmIve had this car now for a little over a 1000 miles and man do I have a lot to say about it - and not all good. The windshield and sloped hood make it almost impossible to gauge how close you are to something and makes it hard to park tightly. The 160 watt radio is ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE! The controls for most of the components - awkwardly placed and an eye sore. The Bluetooth - a complete failure/hard to use (Mazda and Nissan system were much better - I know because I rented both). Traction/assisted steering/whatever the heck its supposed to be - does little (in fact feels more responsive when its off). What a joke! Really Civic? You got me at hello but now I a divorce.
