  • What a surprise - 2007 Honda Civic

I purchased the vehicle without a test drive for a second car for my daughters. I previoulsy had a Matrix AWD, but could not get side curtain air bags. I have always owned Toyotas and I was completely surprised by what a great car the Civic is to drive. On the highway the wind had no affect (very stable) and the motor was extremely smooth. I love the safety features. The only complaint I have is the emergency brake is in a bad spot for tall drivers. What a thrill.

I bought this car since I commute over 50 miles to work. I am not getting the gas mileage advertised, but it is pretty close (44-47 mile range), and I drive fairly fast (70-75 mph). I dont do much city driving but when I do, I get in the 40 mph range. Its still a great deal though and with the mileage I save, the savings are adding up. I am a tiny bit disappointed by the interior room especially in the drivers side. The head room is fine, but my right knee continually rubs against the interior dash by the radio. The seats also dont have the greatest support in the world, so one is pretty cramped after a long trip. Cockpit dash design is pretty cool expecially a night! Radio is great.

This is my second car after starting out with a Saturn. I love the looks and feel very safe driving it despite the relatively small size. Great mileage!

  • Excellent sedan needing very few tweeks - 2007 Honda Civic

Overall this is an excellent car. On an 800 mile trip visiting my daughters I got 38.9mpg at 65-70. To me thats excellent mileage with only 1275 total miles so far. Its noticeably smoother and quieter than the Lancer Ralliart I sold. For what its intended to be it handles and performs well. Its a good value in its class. After looking at Sentras and Corollas the Civic just beat them in design, both inside and out.

  • Great Car - 2007 Honda Civic

This has been the most exciting and well built car I have driven to date. It is very sporty. It has a lot of pick up and the short shifter is about as easy as a manual gets. An all around great car and a great purchase.

  • Show me a better car - 2007 Honda Civic

This car was bought for my 17 year old son, no regrets yet. We feared it might be "too fast" for him, but its perfect. The car is just quick enough to be extremely fun, not fast enough to be too dangerous. The car handles flawlessly, looks great, and is a HUGE improvement over the 06 models (fixed a lot of common first-year problems, trac. control added). The car holds its value better than a regular civic, and ohh soo fun to drive!

  • Awesome Ride! - 2007 Honda Civic

The 2007 civic is SO fun to drive, it is hard to park it and go in to work in the morning. The instrument layout is excellent and the way it handles is amazing. Seats are very comfortable and provide excellent support. Interior trim is very well engineered and looks very elegant. Drive this before you buy a BMW 3 series or you will kick yourself.

This car has been the family car for a while (including a back and forth trip NJ-FLA). So far the car is good, but not great. Maybe its the first year blues after the redesign, but already problems have arisen. The a/c went once already. The dealers story was that the condenser apparently got hit by a rock, and had to be replaced. There have also been windshield wiper problems which are difficult to explain but require fixing. Other nit picks include the exaggerated turning radius, the car easily bottoming out on speed bumps and such, crappy standard radio, and amplified road noise. Dont misunderstand me, this is a good car, I just wonder if there are better small sedans out there.

  • Heaven to drive; hell to park! - 2007 Honda Civic

Ive had "Spunky" for less than a year now. Blessings and curses with this metallic blue 2007 Civic sedan are the topic. Inside & outside, this car looks and feels sweet. Sporty yet business worthy, family functional yet mid-life crisis soothing, fuel efficient yet spunky -- I thought this car had it all! The blessings are exactly what Honda would have you to realize...save a buck and fly like a buck through the woods! The curses? Wheel seals to rims: constantly failing while parked on slight lateral inclines. Major cost issue (not under warranty!): the under-carriage shield/bumper assembly fails to clear wheel stops in parking lots causing it to gradually break joints and disengage. Bad!!

  • Great little car - 2007 Honda Civic

I owed this car for 10 years. It was purchased new and primarily driven by my mother and brother. The dealer honored issues that were well out of warranty like: re-painting the car twice and replacing the sun visors. It has been a great car. Weve driven it 86K miles
