  • Gutless Hybrid has Ups & Downs - 2007 Honda Civic
    By -

I purchased an 07 Civic Hybrid. Not only is it gutless, but fails to get the advertised mpg. I get about 32 around town. Now thats double from my last car and I actually dont mind filling it up. Ups & Downs.

  • Hell of a good car! - 2007 Honda Civic

This car is amazing! Great on gas, soooo quiet. It is great on getting up to speed when you need to and turns on a dime. This car is amazing and comfortable in every way shape and form!

  • Switch from a Chrysler to a Honda - 2007 Honda Civic
    By -

With gas prices going up I saw the need to change vehicles. The old FWD Chrysler concord was a good vehicle, but avg 20 mpg. The Honda is stable to drive and better in snow that I expected. The fuel economy has offset much of the extra payment, and the resale $$ is much better. Call it Honda+ The brakes are solid and the engine is the smoothest 4 cyl I have ever felt. Good A/C, and sun roof. Bad item was the rear control arms that went bad or were poor design. They ruined the rear tires by 19,000 mi. They were replaced, but watch for this potential failing. All other aspects are excellent with enough room for me, @ 65".

  • Great car, un-Honda-like problems - 2007 Honda Civic
    By -

This Honda is not unlike its predecessors in being a quality, reliable ride, equipped with only the most necessary bells a whistles to ensure repairs remain inexpensive. Overall, its a quality car that is easy to drive with a above-Honda-average amount of pick-up. Comfort is an issue for the tall, as has always been the case. My only real complaint is that the interior materials seem cheap, easily showing scratches, wear, oil, and dirt. This is especially worrisome for any leaser. After a year of ownership, some parts of my EX look worse than my former 1991 Civic.

  • Well put together and easy to live with. - 2007 Honda Civic
    By -

Had this car two years and it has been easy and cheap to live with. The only downside to this car is the braking performance, which you will notice the first time you drive it. Also, dont expect typical handling and performance, this model is tuned for economy. Still, I love the build quality and the design is great too.

  • Awesome Car - 2007 Honda Civic
    By -

Wow!!! Gas mileage is unbelievable. Better than stated if you use your gauges and drive wisely. This car is fun to drive, takes the curves, quiet and roomy. A responsive car when you need it and a hybrid when you dont. And the IRS gives you over 2000.00 to buy one! What an unbelievable deal. With all the driving we do, the savings in gas is equivalent to almost half of the car payment. With cars like this it is time to go green!

  • Save Big! - 2007 Honda Civic

If you drive with gas saving in mind, slowly & patiently this car is for you. Little bit of a stiff ride, but seats are comfy. CVT takes a little bit to get used to. Been accustomed to having a vehicle shift to each gear, now this cvt is shiftless just the one gear constantly adjusting for best fuel mileage. Power is what you should expect from a hybrid. I think my lawn mower has more get up and go. Steers like a charm and no complaints yet. I honestly drive like a grandpa. This car suits me very well. Performance is not this vehicle by any means. Ive owned a Camaro with a LS1 engine, I know power and paying for it at the pump.

  • Great, practical car - 2007 Honda Civic

I didnt expect much from an entry level 4-cylinder sedan, but this car is very fun to drive and very well designed inside and out. Im 6-3, and headroom has been a problem in the past, but I have room to spare. My legs fit comfortably too, not resting against the door and center console like usual. The only thing I need to adjust to is that the car downshifts with light braking, which is causing me to stop too soon. I suppose this is partly because I am accustomed to V6 and partly because the car skews towards a younger, less experienced demographic.

  • Great Compact Car - 2007 Honda Civic

I went from a Yukon Denali to a Honda Civic as my main vehicle with no problem. I was hooked on a Honda once I drove my friends Accord several times. It felt heavy and handled the road well even though it had over 125,000 miles. I am very pleased with my purchase of a Honda Civic.
