Good buy for under 20K - 2007 Honda Civic
By DRE - June 15 - 11:10 amGot a new 07 LX manual for under 17k. Great vehicle. I get a "true" 37mpg just about all the time (~70% hwy) except for in the winter. While I wouldnt call it powerful, it does show oomph if revved high enough (if you have the manual). Corners well enough for an economy car though back end tends to slide out early. Only 4 complaints. The ABS seems to kick in prematurely when doing moderate braking. I had to get both sun visors replaced at about 16k miles. They were both coming apart and would eventually not even go up. Shocks/suspension makes noises when car is very cold (after a few miles it goes away). And as most Civic owners already know, its not the quietest ride.

Great Money Saver - 2007 Honda Civic
By DLP - June 9 - 9:16 pmI have only owned this coupe for a few weeks but it has lived up to and supassed all expectations. My MPG has been holding at 34mpg with around 75% highway driving. I love the responsive motor and handling of the car. I should also say that I am 53 years young and traded a F150 for this because the truck was killing me on gas.

You wont go wrong buying this Civic - 2007 Honda Civic
By Cliff - June 5 - 12:03 pmNegotiated price was $200 over invoice. Absolutely love the 5 speed manual. Overall, the car is outstanding in everyway. Handles like a go-cart with the 16" tires. Quite, solid, great radio. Dealer was great to deal with. Mileage appears to be in range of mid 30s, but car is still in break in. Like my wifes 2005 Honda Oydessy, expecting many a reliable carefree motoring mile from my new Civic.

Great all-around vehicle - 2007 Honda Civic
By MyFirstHonda - May 29 - 11:50 pmI have only had my EX sedan about a month, and currently have about 1000 miles on it. Thus far, I am averaging about 29 mpg, having driven pretty close to 50/50 city and highway. The car performs very well, is not overly noisy (certainly not for an affordable compact car), and has not disappointed in any way. The 5 speed auto trans shifts very smoothly, and keeps nice low rpms, even when cruising at highway speeds (pulls about 2250 rpm at a steady 70 mph). I would rate the build quality as very high, fit and finish is neat clean with very tight tolerances, no squeaks, rattles or odd noises. Having the AUX stereo jack is wonderful (works perfectly with my iRiver player).

Love my Civic. - 2007 Honda Civic
By Nora - May 25 - 11:33 pmI really like this car! No serious problems yet, the only thing is the sun visors that I have to replace because they break apart, but everything else is perfect for me. Have gotten many complements. My first Honda and I love it!

Near perfect car - 2007 Honda Civic
By Jeff C - May 24 - 5:16 amThis thing is incredible. I loved my 2003 Acura RSX-S, but this is a step up. Yes, a step UP. It has more sophisticated technology, better build quality, more of the "it" factor, and its my daily driver. I still love my K20s, and this car is built so well around it, I am pleased to say that Ive never owned a car as satisfying as this. Get the navi, you will regret it if you dont buy it.

Great Vehicle to Drive - 2007 Honda Civic
By sp - May 20 - 3:04 pmThis is my 2nd Honda Civic & Ive loved them both. They have both driven well & perform very well. As w/ my 1st Civic the mileage gets better as the car gets older. Id buy another Honda any day!

Love My Civic - 2007 Honda Civic
By ssangelljr - May 20 - 4:56 amThe Civic is a great car to drive. It provides excellent power and handling for a small car. I sell cars for a living and have experienced the "drive" of many cars, but nothing in the class with the Civic even compares.

Bad score for 07 Civic LX Auto - 2007 Honda Civic
By Art - May 16 - 5:24 pmWell get used to a lot of problems and recalls, like your front wheels (axle lube recall) falling off. Your door handle (inside) breaking, your windshield wipers not working on intermittent position. (recall) Your engine block cracking. Your bolts backing out of the fan pully and fatal to the radiator if they do come loose. Interior sun visors (this is a good one) being replaced multi times, seems Honda cant make enough replacements. Your broken (or missing) transmission bolts, recall. The list goes on man! Better check your recall list!
