No styling, content or trim changes for the 2000 Honda Civic. The performance-oriented Si continues for 2000, and there have been paint comings and goings: Taffeta White has been added to the CX and DX Hatchback, and Dark Amethyst has been dropped; Titanium Metallic comes to the DX, LX and EX Sedan, and Vogue Silver is gone. Vintage Plum is now available to the LX and EX Sedan, and Inza Red has been eliminated.

• Roomier than many cars in this class, agreeable levels of comfort in any trim level, powerful Si engine.

  i only had my civic si for a year and i put 35000 mi on it. not one problem, its a fun car to drive, if i didnt have to sell it to get a truck i would still own it today, and since then ive bought another civic

  As a everyday car, this is the best. It handles very well. Has more then enough power. And when any other hondas drive along you know that you car is much more bad a**. Me and my honda civic si have gone throught alot together, and well go throught alot more, i wouldnt change it for the world.

  A fun and practical car - 2000 Honda Civic

  What can I say about the car? I love it to death. From the spunky 1.6 VTEC engine to the precise handling. I bought this car use for around 11,000 and it has been a great investment. Its fun to drive around hitting redline in this thing. Its also really reliable. Ive had no problems in the 7 months Ive had the car. My only gripes are the lack of torque, but hey its a honda.

  Reliable and carefree little car. Just remember to do scheduled maintenance and you never worry about anything. Exterior design is not eye-catching but is actually better than most of other brands (except for 00 Jetta).

  Simply unbelievable value. Typical Honda "bullet-proof" quality in a fun to drive, roomy, economical, slow-depreciating car. A real home run. In terms of total cost (which of course includes depreciation), probably the least expensive car to drive. And it really can fit four adults! Miserly with gas and still peppy and can run all day at freeway speeds.

  I have to say driving the Si all the time is fun. When I first got it, for the 1st 2 days i did nothing but shift at 8000rpm every time!! and guess what it cost me? a full tank of gas that I would have normally used up in 1 1/2 weeks. The Si grabs when i need it and VTEC really helps me if I need a little more power. I love the look of it with the factory front lip and side skirts and still get comments to this day about my Si. 1 thing I wish Honda would have done with the engine is give it more torque. I would have been happy with a extra 20-30 ft-lbs of torque. But otherwise, I love my Electron Blue Pearl Civic Si!

  I love my ride I bought the car used and have not regreted a single moment. I read the reviews and felt it would be a shame not to get one. I have owned three previous hondas, but they were all accords this is my first civic. I am kinda dissapointed that their is no clock on hte dash but I can live with it. I did notice noise coming from the dash as so many reported but no biggie. Fuel is awesome especially with the prices now

  This is my first car, and I definitely have to say that I have no regrets on purchasing it three years ago. I live in Puerto Rico, and this car has suvived above 90-degree weather year- round. I hope to keep on buying Hondas, if they are all like this!

  What more could I ask for then a all around great car. Looks good, awesome gas mileage, fast, handles great.! I love it!
