What a great car - 1998 Honda Civic
By cruizinone - November 24 - 6:41 pmSince I owned this car, I put a total of 650.00 into repairs (brakes & tires) This is one GREAT car. Never lets me down and does not need a lot of maint. Thanks GOD, the car is lucky if I remember to put oil in it. This car is so much fun to drive. Even my friends ask to drive it. I have been told that this car will run for 200,000 + miles. This is my first honda and I am looking to get another, if something should ever happen to his one.

Transmission Woes - 1998 Honda Civic
By sat - November 14 - 10:00 amWatch out for transmission problems of Civic. The automatic transmission started to upshift very harshly. It seems to be a common issue for Civics. I did not bother about this until it happened to my car (well maintained, cared-for, less than 50K miles and of course out of warranty).

First foreign car - 1998 Honda Civic
By GoldenOne - October 31 - 10:00 amLove it, love it, love it! I purchased my 98 Civic EX coupe in 97 and its been the most reliable car Ive ever owned. 55k and the only thing that I had replaced was a altenator, which they fixed promptly. My husband likes to drive it and fits comfortably in it (hes 64). Were thinking about having kids, so we might look into something a little bigger. But I just cant part with my Civic. Well DEFINATLY stick with Honda, maybe well go to a 4dr or if I have it my way... an Accord. :)

Nice car! - 1998 Honda Civic
By Yablokov - September 5 - 4:47 amThis car is amazing. I get great gas mileage. And now I get about 44mpg on the highway(80mph). I put a custom exhaust and a cold air intake now the car screams while giving me great gas mileage

Best Car I Ever Had - 1998 Honda Civic
By p. m. dauria - September 4 - 11:55 pmI bought my Civic in 1997. It was an absolute joy to own. I always said that I would buy it all over again. Within the last week I sold it to my daughter per her request and purchased a 2005 Honda CRV. I never had any problems with the Civic - loved every minute of it - would still own it if my daughter didnt need it. And, so far, I have nothing bad to say about the CRV either.

Nice Cars - 1998 Honda Civic
By Travis Swift - August 25 - 10:00 amI got my car as a present from my parents on my birthday last year. It has been a great car, and--excluding the lack of power--has a sporty feel to it. My car is one of the few with a problem, so I get poor gas milage (only about 24 city driving)

Honda (The Best Car Ever)! - 1998 Honda Civic
By Ghaith - August 24 - 9:25 amIts been almost one year since Ive sold my 1996 BMW 318 and bought my 1998 Honda Civic, when it comes to performance and reliability I think the Honda is much better than the BMW from my own experience, Im 6.6 ft and I feel much comfortable in the Honda. Gas milage is unbeatable with a Civic, and maintenance is extremly low compared to other cars and it looks great.

Better than I expected. - 1998 Honda Civic
By Karina - July 22 - 1:06 pmHave 92K+ on this car, and 7 years, and still have one of the most fuel efficient cars on the market. Always reliable. Friends who borrow it love its "kick" -- me too. I just dont have a reason to sell it until its an absolute heap! More stylin cars cant beat its advantages.
