In typical Honda fashion, the Civic receives a number of minor changes this year in order to keep it fresh. For the coupe and sedan, there's new exterior styling, including restyling for the front and rear bumpers, hood, headlights and grille. Inside, the audio speakers have been upgraded, extra sound deadening material has been added and floor mats are now standard in the LX and EX. The LX trim has slightly bigger wheels this year (15 inches) and standard keyless entry. A new value package contains air conditioning, a CD player and a new center console. For the Si hatchback, there are new headlight and taillight designs, larger 16-inch wheels and flashier interior trim. Like the regular sedan, the Civic Hybrid has updated styling, standard floor mats and improved speakers. It also has a new interior console with an armrest, adjustable rear headrests and a manual driver-seat height adjuster. Finally, all 2004 Honda Civic sedans and coupes have a new seatbelt reminder system.

Love it. - 2004 Honda Civic
By Miyoun - June 4 - 10:00 amI recently purchased this car yesterday, June 29th, and this is the most fun Ive had. I jumped up from a 2001 Chevy S10, which was not the best truck, but was practical. This Si has great room in the front and the back (my head does not touch the top when sitting up in the back seats 6) and has great gas mileage. LoVe It.

Best hybrid out there - 2004 Honda Civic
By macsven - June 4 - 10:00 amI didnt really choose to buy this car, since I wanted a manual transmission hybrid (the Civic is the only such model), but I am absolutely happy. The performance is decent, certainly no different than standard Civics or similar class cars. However, I probably would have paid more for extra horses because acceleration above 60 mph or when driving with a full car is sluggish. Gas mileage has lived up to my expectations -- 45-55 mpg, which leads me to think any complaints out there are from drivers who accelerate too fast, go over 80 mpg, etc. All other aspects of the car are identical to regular Civics -- a well balanced and economical sedan.

By longtimeowner - May 26 - 1:13 amThis is my 4th new Honda I purchased this car in 12-03 I have had excellant service from the car. I think it is a good little car the quality is well above average. The service intervals suggested by Honda are long. I have had no problems with fit and finish. I could suggest this ride for anyone needing a "GOOD SMALL CAR"

Third Civic - 2004 Honda Civic

Not the fastest, sportiest, or nicest car on the streets, however it es everything I could ask for. Great gas mileage, interior space, build quality(minus the paint), and low cost to operate the vehicle. I could have bought a $30000.00 vehicle, but for vacations, backa dn forth to work and running around town with friends. I would rather have my money in my bank account than depreciating in my garage!!! Compound interest is the worlds best invention.

By James O. - May 22 - 8:47 amMy 2004 Accord EX is without question the best car I have ever owned (am will likely own). In four years I have not had a single issue with it, both interior and exterior. Routine maintenance and a little TLC leave her running and looking great. An added bonus is the fantastic fuel efficiency now that gas is through the roof. On average, she gets close to 30 mpg. If you are considering buying a Honda, this particular model will serve you very, very well.

By SCF - May 4 - 10:16 pmPurchased in fall of 2003 and now have only 26,000 miles on the car. Super reliable, great gas mileage, supportive and comfortable seats. Whats not to love about this car? We took the car on a trip in southern Colorado on mostly secondary roads with speed limits of 55 to 65 mph and got 43 mpg! Have only had to do oil changes and had one small rattle near the dash that the dealership fixed. No other problems. This car is not a hotrod but set the cruise control at 78 on the interstate and thats where is stays. If you want a car with bank vault solid reliability, great resale value and excellent gas mileage you wont go wrong with a Civic.

Excellent Car, just not for long trip - 2004 Honda Civic
By babytam - April 28 - 2:00 amIts really smooth. It got all the horsepower/torque I need. Really great fuel efficiency (so far, I have 42.3 MPG.) The engine is usually quiet. Especially during stops, when the engine is off. But the engine is really loud on the highway. I cant hear the music (CD/Radio) when I am on the Highway. I was surprised by the fan staying on after I turn off the vehicle. I assume the fan is used to cool off the engine. During long trip (4 hours +), one can feel that the seat cushioning is not very good.

Da Coupe - 2004 Honda Civic

The coupe I have now is manual, and suggest folks to get the manual if you like stick and sporty fun. Gas mileage is great also. Overall, a great car for any age. Performance and economy all in one.

Best Buy - 2004 Honda Civic
By Iceblue - March 29 - 10:00 amI just got my 04 Civic Cp, and I love it. We got the first 04 in our area. The salesman wasnt pushy at all. My Civic has exellent build quality and great looks. And I love the engine. No problems so far but that can be expected form a Honda.The Civic is a true best buy.
