  • New CR-V EX - 2004 Honda CR-V

My CR-V is excellent, it is so quite I have to look to see if its started, The ride is very smooth, and I can turn on a dime, I love the front wheel drive and the 4WD when I need it. I didnt think I would like the tray in the middle, but I couldnt live with out it now. I am very HAPPY with my new CR-V.

  • Very dissappointed - 2004 Honda CR-V

I bought my very first new Honda and everything went wrong with it rotors, starter, emergency brake was never even hooked up. Every time I had to get its scheduled maintenance I didnt have my vechicle for few days due to mechanical probs. The civic w/ 227,000 miles I traded in was more reliable. I just recently got rid of it because Honda Corp. was willing to do NOTHING to help me with my issues. Very disappointed, always loved honda, had to switch to Toyota.

Great car to drive(fun), solid, very reliable, maintenance free, good style. Would recommend to buy. Feel very safe in vechicle, Wife`has no fear of driving in the snow.

  • Vibration - 2004 Honda CR-V

Vehicle came with front end-steering wheel vibration. Balancing tires didnt get rid of it completely. Tailpipe rusting. Side windows vibrate during cold weather. Hard to see out of rear window due to back seat headrests. Little inside storage space. Zippy drive but too many initial problems for a vehicle touted for its quality.

  • Look at OEM Tires - 2004 Honda CR-V
    By -

My wife and I searched high and low for the right vehicle. After test driving at least 30 different models we decided on the Honda CRV. Shortly after purchasing the CRV we took it on a 2000 mile trip. It fullfilled all of our expectations and got 26 MPG in the process. My only complaint with the vehivcle is the OEM tires which came with the CRV. It came with Bridgestone Dueler HT 684s. These have a treadwear of 180 Traction B and Temperature of B. All reviews I have read about these tires inducate that they are crap! I do not understand how Honda can allow these type of tires on a any of their vehicles.

I love my CRV so far I looked at alot of others and this one was the best bang for the buck. Feul mileage was one of my gripes but then i reminded myself this is a SUV they dont get mileage like a car.

  • SUV not to be taken off road - 2004 Honda CR-V
    By -

Just got a 04 CR-V. Took it to my friends property for some very mild off road driving (got the car in May and I refuse to wait until next X-Mas to try the AWD). The result, $1000 in damages. The EVAT canister busted on me at the first rock. Youd think the car would have some sort of non-Mickey Mouse protection under the car... Overall it rides pretty nice though. The AWD did an excellent job. Ive seen anything from Explorers to Humbies getting stock in some places where I did too. The difference is that the CR- V got out and the others always end up requiring 5-8 guys pushing to get them out. Still licking my wounds over the canister, though....
