By Asiagtmn - March 6 - 10:00 amI am Honda customer since 1985. I bought this CR-V new(2002 model), drove for two months, every time I stopped. I can smell burning ribber at pessenger side rear wheeel well. Take to dealer many time, They cant find anything wrong. Second, I never get better then 20 miles per gallan. very poor mileage.

AC problems - 2004 Honda CR-V
By Nancy Moore - February 8 - 5:22 pmBefore purchasing this CRV, be VERY CAREFUL. The air conditioner has gone out the past three years every June. I have a great foreign car mechanic that will work with me and keeps great records. He was able to get a compressor for half price since I have had such poor experience with the AC unit in this car. I amnow considering something I never thought I would, changing brands to a Toyota. These AC repairs are killing me.

great car but i have a few issues - 2004 Honda CR-V
By racerj36 - February 2 - 2:00 amVery nice. Doesnt get promised mileage, more trips to gas station. Speaker makes a tint sound and Honda finally agreed to replace it but it will take months to order. Windshield ding from rock was not even noticable but became a crack which grew every few days. Honda recommended factory glass, said only $100 more than non factory but i pressed for a price and it turn out to be a lot more for factory glass. $255 versus $600. Went with Non-factory and it looks identicle.

Teen Owner - 2004 Honda CR-V
By Tava - December 10 - 10:00 amI got this car a couple months before I got my Learners Permit so that I could learn to drive on it. I fell in love with it immediately. Im pretty short so I wasnt into the sports car because I could barely see over it. The CR-V was the perfect size. Its not too big and its not too small. It also has a very good safety rating. It looks small but has pretty good room in the front and back. IT also has a large trunk great for atheletes like myself to put athletic equipment in. Overall it is a great buy.

CRV a bargain - 2004 Honda CR-V
By fredrab - November 15 - 2:00 amComfortable, quality is obvious, especially for a relatively inexpensive SUV. 4 cyl. engine really feels closer to a 6 cyl.& I am really pleased with the power. Very ergonomic interior. Compared to other compact SUVs, the CRV is larger and is a real bargain. The RT AWD makes a ride on slick roads feel very secure.

good SUV but watch out - 2004 Honda CR-V
By coles - September 16 - 10:00 amI purchase the CRV for the all wheel drive and to take to work. Ive own Honda Vehicles my whole life. Check your oil after its change there have been 27 cases so far where the truck catches fire, after an oil change and Honda has not issued a recall yet so BE CAREFUL Im taking mine back to the dealer ship to confront this issue face to face.

A great all around vehicle - 2004 Honda CR-V
By Road Warrior - November 22 - 2:05 amI am and outside sales rep and bought the CRV because of the combination of price, visibility & dependability. I worked in Los Angeles and sold to trucking companies so parking was a premium, I could park in the smallest of spots. With all the dead end streets and the front wheels 12 inches behind the bumper I rarely had to back up to complete my turns. The CRV is smooth as silk on the open highway. I have 90k on my two year old CRV and it runs the same as new. I did two things to improve mileage, power & economy. I put platinum 4 plugs in and I always use mid-grade gas. The extra 10 cent per gallon is more than made up for with the benefit of the extra 6 miles per gallon. Very peppy now!!!

I was disappointed - 2004 Honda CR-V
By eskurato - August 17 - 10:00 amI bought a honda because of their quality of build. Unfortunately I am dissapointed. It has an annoying jerk when I let off the gas gently both slowing and speeding up. It has a rattle in the right rear passinger column, it has a thunk in the left front in the suspension when starting out and now there is another rattle in the dash. You pay 23K (including financing) for a car and I almost like driving my beater 87 CRX that has no brakes better.

lot of car, little money - 2004 Honda CR-V
By isides - July 6 - 9:41 pmIve had this car almost two years now and I can say this is best car Ive ever owned. I had a 97 blazer before this and I must say the rear leg room is far more than the blazer, not as much front leg room but its a smaller vehcile. The shifter coming out of the dash takes getting used to but I love the placement now. All around a wonderful car.
