  • Steering Wheel Vibration - 2015 Honda CR-V
    By -

At this point I would not recommend this vehicle. Let me state first this is my third Honda. My first two were a civic and a CRV. Held each from 12-15 years. I couldnt say enough about the quality and service from Honda. Repeatedly recommended them to friends and co-workers. But this 2015 CRV has serious issues with the vibration coming through the steering column. The best description is if the driver side tire is bad. The vibration is very noticeable in the steering wheel. Then somewhat in the seat. Didnt I notice while test driving? I tested the 2014. Ready to buy then I heard the about the improved 2015s coming out. With winter I bought the car too quick. Big mistake.

I bought the Honda CR-V 2015 in Nov, 2015. I felt vibration at stop on D. I did call the dealer in few days said will go away after 1000 miles. I took it to service center about 1500 miles, service center said we did not feel anything. Very disappointed. I took the suv for the second time when the miles at 3200 because the vibration getting worse. I did not put on park at service center, just left on D. I called the service consultant including the manager to feel the vibration. Everyone agreed, but when I went to pick up the suv they did not fix the issue said "this is the characteristic of the new CR-V". They even gave me in writing. UNBELIVABLE AND VERY DISAPPOINTED.

  • Vibration is really Annoying. - 2015 Honda CR-V
    By -

So i bought my Honda CRV 2015 EX on December 1st. I was so excited, and first time I buy a new car. I didnt want to deal with headaches from used car, who knows what problems they have. When I test drive the CRV, I tried all the functions in the car, and they seems to be pretty good, I got a good deal on the price, and i bought it. However after i drive it everyday from home to work, and i live in New York. I have to deal with stop signs or traffic lights every couple blocks. The car just vibrates like crazy when im in D mode and brake pressed. The shake is pretty violent, and after i research everyone is having the same issue. Man i really wish i did my research first, now too late.

  • VIBRATIONS AT IDLE !!! Not an issue, a problem! - 2015 Honda CR-V
    By -

Bought in December 10 2014. After a 2 block test drive I really liked it. After purchase I noticed a vibration in the seats and between1000 and 2000 rpm and a droning noise. Thought that was the way a 4 cyl. was supposed to be since I have always drivin 6 cyl. Well I looked online and omg! This is not what is normal prior CRV s . Honda is telling thousands a fix is coming, if a fix is needed for a new car how can you sell them knowing there is an issue, Honda calls it an issue, to a consumer its a problem! Honda uses the word issue to downplay it. Look out Honda! You tricked the wrong person. Imagine your an ant, all others are stepping on you to kill ya, well Im a 20 lb sledge.. Fix it!

  • CRV 2015 is not a safe car - 2015 Honda CR-V
    By -

Brand new CRV on the third trip from home. The hesitation/vibration problem is noticeable (intermittent shuddering as if a wheel is out of alignment and/or the vehicle has just hit a patch of black ice, but related to the newly designed CRV transmission, a problem common to all CRV 2015 that does not yet have a fix) but what really stunned me was a sudden EXTREMELY HIGH REV when going down a small hill. I was braking lightly at the time. It happened again a week later going up a small hill without brake. It didnt last very long, but the engine raced so completely out of control that the vehicle did not feel safe. The noise was incredible. I returned the car to the dealership.

  • Terrible Vibration! - 2015 Honda CR-V
    By -

Buyer beware. There is a major flaw with the transmission on the new CRV. The dealer and Honda have said that they know it is there, but they have no idea how to fix it. At a stop with foot on brake the car vibrates terribly. It feels as if it will die on the spot. And it is bad enough to rattle your bones. Google Vibration in 2015 CRV to see how bad this is across the country! It does not instill confidence in the rest of the car. Although Honda and the dealer sympathize, they are offering no help in getting it fixed. When you buy a new car you expect it to be flawless. Im a long time Honda owner and am Super disappointed.

  • Worst Honda Ever - 2015 Honda CR-V
    By -

Ive had my car for exactly one week and I am completely disappointed. This is my third Honda and is my last Honda. Vibration and shuddering after it warmed up and really terrible at idle (stop on D). The vibration is very noticeable on passenger seat without passenger. The posted MPG is not true. The MPG from Honda website is 26 city/33 highway/28 combined mpg rating for AWD models. Currently mine is only 23.3 mpg combined (driving a little more city than highway). The heater is weak and has trouble keeping up in cold weather. The back seat takes very long time to get warm. This is really a problem for me because I have kids sitting in the back seat.
