This Year's Model Updates:

The 2007 Honda CR-V is completely redesigned. It hasn't grown in size, power or seating capacity, but thanks to Honda's attention to detail, this small SUV is way up in practicality and refinement.

Pros:
  • Thoughtfully designed cabin with numerous family-friendly touches, high-quality interior materials, comfortable and quiet ride, agile handling.
Cons:
  • Could use more power for passing at highway speeds.

  • Terrific Bang for your buck! - 2007 Honda CR-V

I decided to wait at least two weeks before writing this review. The car is fabulous. It drives like a car and the bells and whistles are great. I tried out the Toyota Highlander, Chevy Equinox, Ford Escape, Nissan Murano before buying this car. I felt all the other cars drove more like a truck. I was spoiled with my Honda Accord EX V6 and found it difficult in deciding on a second car. Well Honda has another fabulous car that is economical on gas, drives like a car and is a great alternative from a minivan! It was well priced and affordable. I truly have become a HONDA fan after this purchase. So many features come standard with the middle EX model. Honda is a great product.

  • Unstable, unsafe, on grooved pavement - 2007 Honda CR-V

Bought the car 2 days ago, today was the first time on our lousy Hwy 101 in Santa Rosa, Ca. BUT - wherever you drive this car, if the pavement is grooved, usually a concrete road, or if there are a lot of cracks running the direction of travel, this car will be unstable. Its like the rear wheels are loose, its annoying, I think its unsafe, when you have many lanes of travel, and its hard to keep the CRV in its own lane. I travel this road all the time, my other vehicles do not act this way. And - all the Honda service department says its the tires, and nothing can be done about it. Great, when I get sideswiped by another vehicle then what? Blame the tires !

  • Loyal Honda owner loves this one - 2007 Honda CR-V

I bought the 2007 CR-V just a few days after it was released. Having previously owned an earlier model CR-V, I am thrilled with the changes theyve made to this model. Ive had people follow me through parking lots to get a better look and ask me questions. Ive always loved Hondas, but this ones a real winner.

  • Me and My Honda - 2007 Honda CR-V

Ive always been a jeep owner for 12 years. This is my first Honda and I love it. I cant believe how roomy it is! We didnt sacrifice space with this smaller SUV!

This is my first ownership experience with a Honda, and so far I love it! What appealed to us the most, other than gas mileage and reputation, was the ground clearance and seat height adjustment. Both of us have some back troubles and most sedans sit too low to the ground. You literally have to pull yourself up of those low seats. But not with the CR-V. It is easy to get in and out of. It is probably the most practical vehicle we have ever owned. I did much research on the internet and compared CR-V with many competitors. None of them matched the CR-V in quality, standard options or price. Love my Honda CR-V!

Purchased vehicle last week. Prior vehicle was 2006 CRV SE. Love the new styling. Interior is beautiful. Great leather upgrade from 06. Interior compares to Accord V6 EX-L. Ride is smmother that Gen 2 Cr-V. Did not think I would love the new style this much but I do. Have glacier blue w/ grey leather. Have been told car is very "pretty". Love that car looks different color in different lighting. So far performance is great.

Car has a number of options normally found on more expensive vehicles, e.g., vehicle stability control. Too, the elimination of the spare tire from the rear gate makes the car more appealing and the gas mileage is good.

Excellent vehicle. I put 240,000 on my 99 CR-V. Im getting 28 MPG on the highway. The new model rides a little rougher, but its more comfortable. The 2007 has a lot more horsepower, nice handling.

  • Im glad I bought it! - 2007 Honda CR-V

Ok, Ive had my CRV since July 28th now. I still only have 200 miles on it so havent driven it a bunch. That being said I think it is a wonderful car and am so glad I finally got it. ts comfortable, roomy and just fun to be in. Ive been to the grocery store a couple of times and love how easy it is to load and unload from the back end.

  • Truly a multi-purpose vehicle. - 2007 Honda CR-V

Handles and accelerates well while still being more economical than V-6 alternatives. Two wheel drive is more than adequate in northern urban areas. AWD would be better for rural commutes in winter or in heavy snow belt areas. Excellent heater and heated mirrors appreciated in Canada. Many thoughtful and functional items in the standard LX model. Our choice was between the Accord or the CRV. Both had nearly identical MSRP. The CRV is much more useful and has Vehicle Stability Assist included. Exceptional feeling of spaciousness for the driver and passenger. Residual value of the CRV has been excellent for many years I never truly understood the whole CRV thing until I bought one.
