  Great Choice for First Car - 2004 Honda CR-V

  This is the first car I ever bought myself and Ive been VERY happy with it for the past year, racking up almsot 20K miles. The engine is powerful enough for a 60 mile round-trip daily commute on the DC Beltway & I-95, but not so powerful that it gives you poor gas milage (I get 26/27 mpg). There is no need for a V6 with this car, despite what other reviews say. Its a nice size, handles well, and is easy to park -- no problems getting into a space in any lot, garage, or street location. Its a great commuter car and road trip car rolled into one. Safety features are great, and it was certainly worth upgrading to the EX to get them.

  This is a great car! I bought this car on August 23 after my 17 year old daughter totaled my 2003 Honda CRV EX on August 17, 2004. She rolled that car 3-5 times, yet the whole occupant compartment stayed intact. The roof didnt even cave in, although there was dirt and grass sticking out of the top of the doors. She had her seatbelt on, the drivers side airbag deployed, and she walked away with only 3 small bruises! I thank God I bought that Honda! Thats why, 6 days after the accident, I walked into the same Honda dealer and bought the same car!

  I love the manueverability of this truck. Its not big and bulky. Its so much better on my back getting up into a vehicle rather than down and especially getting out of it.

  Our CRV handles real nice...have only filled up gas twice so far ..got 20 mpg on last fill-up...hoping to do better next time with gas prices soaring....Considering the size of the engine,it has plenty of power and rides nicely at highway speeds...one thing I miss is a an outside temp. readout and compass...love the audio system and tailgate table

  MY WIFE IS THE PRIMARY DRIVER OF THIS VEHICLE BUT I HAVE DRIVEN IT QUITE A BIT. SO FAR SO GOOD. CAR HANDLES WELL AND HAS GOOD ACCELERATION.

  We have had a rough winter in Northern Utah this year, and I needed a commuter vehicle that offered all wheel drive. The Honda CR-V has served this purpose very well, while also being fun to drive and completely reliable. I have a tow hitch on it, and while the amount you can tow is modest, I obtain over 21 mpg while towing. Overall mileage as been 25.5 to 26 mpg with mostly highway miles with some city miles. Perhaps the best compliment I can give the vehicle is that it becomes more fun to drive with each passing day and I recognize the excellent value it represents.

  The Honda CRV is a fun to drive vehicle. It is very comfortable and it handles extremely well for an SUV. It is very roomy and has a lot of storage space. Gas mileage is as good as any 6 cyl,sedan with automatic. This 4 cyl SUV gets off the line as well as most 6 cyl suvs. The best thing of all is it has Honda engineering and quality building it.

  My wife and I have 2 children and we wanted to trade in our older large SUV on something new and easier for my wife to drive, we test drove a bunch of the similar size SUVs (VUE Outlander Escape) and the Honda CRV was the best of the bunch in our opinion. It rides great has a ton of stow away storage and is very Mom and Kid friendly. We could not be happier with our choice.
