This Year's Model Updates:

The 2007 Honda CR-V is completely redesigned. It hasn't grown in size, power or seating capacity, but thanks to Honda's attention to detail, this small SUV is way up in practicality and refinement.

Pros:
  • Thoughtfully designed cabin with numerous family-friendly touches, high-quality interior materials, comfortable and quiet ride, agile handling.
Cons:
  • Could use more power for passing at highway speeds.

  • How do they do it? - 2007 Honda CR-V

How does Honda keep building the perfect auto? This is my sixth Honda/Acura and I am completely happy. This is my first CRV. Its the jack of all trades vehicle. I have a Karaoke business so I had to give up my Tsx for something with room for my equipment. I was worried that I would not like another auto as much. No worries! Its quite fun to drive. The interior feels upscale and the exterior has character. I also test drove the Rav but dont like the rear door or the spare tire hanging off the back. In conclusion if you are in the market for a small Suv you wont go wrong with this jewel!

  • As good or better than expected - 2007 Honda CR-V

Weve had our AWD EX for a month and have done around town , mountain and highway driving. The gas mileage is right on the money. This car handles well, is quiet and feels substantial. Weve had three other Hondas including a 1999 CRV, this is the best.

The crv rides firm but in a comfortable way. No appreciable wind noise or road noise. The engine noise is noticeable but not offensive. Only thing that slightly irritates me is the gearing in the transmission. The first 4 gears are spot on where you would like them. The fifth gear is TALL, a real road gear in every sense of the word. A fairly large gap between 4th and 5th. Irritation comes when doing 45 mph and it shifts into 5th under light load, only problem is its only doing about 1500 rpm in 5th and not enough torque at that rpm to do anything and the drivetrain stresses. It does 70 mph at 2100 rpm. Need a pilots license to ever see 3000 rpm in 5th. Sort of wonder why..

  • Very stable ride - 2007 Honda CR-V

I am very impressed with the handling of my new 2007 CR-V. I had to swerve to miss a skunk last night and all I could think after the maneuver was wow, I would not have expected this kind of handling from an SUV. Very little sway or leaning into turns and is surprisingly quiet too. The engine provides adequate acceleration.

  • A Fun Car! - 2007 Honda CR-V

I have only had this car for a week, but I truly do enjoy driving it. The interior is beautiful and comfortable, and the exterior is sharp Im getting a lot of great comments on it! The display is easy to read and appealing to the eye. I find myself volunteering to go to the store, pick up the dry cleaning, etc. ... any excuse to get in my CRV and drive.

  • Wow, they got this one right - 2007 Honda CR-V

Wow what a difference a year makes! The 07 is a FAR superior vehicle to the previous unit. Much nicer, more refined, quieter and generally more "upscale". I really felt like I was driving a small Acura or Lexus and the power from the 4 banger was great, certainly not fast but perfect for everyday driving on $3/gallon gas when 28 mpg comes in handy. For most families the size is great, the amenities plush, the cargo space ample and fun/practical/cool quotient is just right.

  • More than we expected - 2007 Honda CR-V

Picked up our new CRV-EX/2WD this morning and promptly went on a bit of a drive to check the highway mileage. 30.6 MPG at 70MPH. Fit and finish are great, more power than expected. I found the seats very comfy, everything works as advertised including the power moonroof. 6 disc changer works well and sounds very good. There are a lot of things I need to learn about this car though, this is our first import(guess it had to happen sooner or later)

  • New CRV a lot of vehicle for price - 2007 Honda CR-V

Researched 5 small/med utility-Honda CRV, Honda CRV, Toyota Rav4, Jeep Liberty, Ford Escape, Subaru Forrester. Honda & Toyota were best. But Honda CR-V best for price, 5-star safety/crash rating, 5-star depreciation. Honda has standard sunroof, lift tailgate, spare tire hidden inside. Toyota doesnt include standard sunroof, side-hinge tailgate, & spare tire outside. Toyota side- hinge impedes curb loading & opening inside garage. So far CRV avg 22-24 mpg town & 25-28 hwy, but mpg to increase 2-3 mpg after 1st oil change. Smooth/stable ride & shifting, solid braking, good traction wet cond, roomy interior, easy reach int gadgets, back seats easy access, roomy cargo, rear console food/drinks.

  • I love the new CRV - in fact, I crave it - 2007 Honda CR-V

:-) I love this car! Its super cute and a great family car for a soon-to- be growing family! I always get admiring glances by other drivers and I get excited to drive the CR-V every morning. The car handles well and the backseat is extra roomy. The front has plenty of room for my purse and the extra glove compartment provides extra storage. I love where the gear shift is. I very much recommend this SUV!

Love the car. It wraps the corners like a sports car. Stops on a dime. Great looking car and gets many stares on the road. It has plenty of power. Tons of cargo space in back.
