  • Surpised by how much I like this SUV! - 2008 Honda CR-V

After driving GMC Yukons for 12 years, I down-sized to a CRV. I researched for months and considered about a dozen vehicles. When I compared to my "must-have" list, the CRV was the winner. I love the roomy interior. Its peppy and truly fun to drive. With less than 500 miles on it, Im getting over 30mpg on the highway with an overall average of 26 mpg.

  • Great, Towable, SUV - 2008 Honda CR-V

I needed a second car that I can tow behind my motorhome with all four wheels down, so that screening criteria eliminates many autos. With one exception, a 2005 Jeep Liberty CRD, I have owned Honda and Acura products for the last ten years and this car meets the quality that I have come to expect from Honda products. A V-6 would be nice, but everything else is superb. I like the styling, the fit and finish are perfect, the interior space is surprisingly adequate, and the fuel economy is what I hoped for. I also like another aspect of Honda ownership and that is the joy of reading articles that consistently rank my cars among the best or the best in almost every reasonable category

This is our third CRV (we still have the other two - a 2000 and a 2001) and this is the best yet. Love the styling, fit and finish. Very comfortable even after a 15.5 hour, straight through drive from McAllen, TX, to Albuquerque, NM. Averages between 21 and 23 mpg in town and as much as 31.5 mpg on the road. Our other CRVs were LX models - on a two-wheel drive, the other AWD. Decided to go top of the line this time and feel it is well worth the difference in price. Full well expect to keep this one for up to 10 years. Our 2000 has 158,000 miles and it still running like a champ. We traded in a 2002 Accord on this CRV. The way if figure it. You cant go wrong with Honda.

Has been a very satisfying vehicle. Have had a few problems with suspension, starter and steering but they were taken care of.

  • Best car I have ever driven!!!!! - 2008 Honda CR-V

I travel 3 states as a territory manager and this is the best car I have ever driven. It is so fun to drive and everything is rtight where you want it. Stereo with 6 disc cd is awesome. Power moon roof is great and engine and transmission are solid.Handling is nimble and athletic. Styling inside and out is really sharp. This is my first Honda. Wow! I have owned GM and Ford and Chrysler products all my life and this CR-V from Honda is almost too good to be true in every respect. I will be a customer for life! 5200 wonderful miles so far. Thank you Honda for a job well done...

I bought my CRV few weeks ago. I havnt drove much yet however I take it for ride on every oppertunity I get. EX-L model packs in all the luxury you get when you high end luxury version. Driver seat is comfortable.

  • Great liitle ride - 2008 Honda CR-V

My wifes choice. I was looking for an Accord. She fell in love with this royal blue pearl model. Fantastic fit and finish, no defects on delivery. Not a head snapper, but adequate acceleration and surprising comfort, Typical solid Honda feel. Loaded with safety features and very nicely appointed. Great handling and stopping. Mileage is a little better than advertised, with 28 mpg on trips and 26 in town driving, We both love to drive it and it is a head turner. People asking all about it. Couldnt be more pleased! Well, maybe a little. The funky console/tray is kinda useless and would prefer a real console with storage, but this is really nit-picking!

  • Pleasant surprise - 2008 Honda CR-V

Have owned for three months and current mileage is 7000 mi. Have had 4 Accords and one Integra so am familiar with Honda quality/reliability. Recent 5800 mi trip averaged 30 mpg. One 180 mi freeway trip at 70 mph was 34 mpg.Gas mileage better than expected.I think it likes warm weather. Very comfortable & quiet ride.Lots of storage room.I wish the rear seats would fold flat though. Engine could use another 40 hp to provide more oomph above 90 km/hr. V6 option would be nice. This is the first SUV I have owned and am impressed with seating height, handling and ride.At 7000 mi, oil life shows only 50% used.I am used to 4000 mi intervals. Seems like a long way to me.

  • Nice but... - 2008 Honda CR-V

My wife loves her new CR-V. We did some comparison shopping and the CR-V is best choice out there for this size SUV.

  • Great Car - 2008 Honda CR-V

I chose this car after looking at many in the category over the past year. Specifically the Toyota Highlander and Acura RDX were the other contenders. This car has most features I was looking for at a better price and with better fuel economy. It looks nice and drives well.
